Serious Concern Regarding Parking Area Incident

Dear Hyatt HR Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express a concerning incident that occurred during my recent visit to your esteemed establishment, which I feel deserves your immediate attention.

This was not my first time visiting Hyatt; I have always appreciated your excellent service and facilities. On this occasion, I attended an event and, as always, left impressed by the service and overall event experience. However, an unfortunate incident in the parking area after the event marred an otherwise pleasant day.

Since I arrived on a bike this time instead of my usual SUV, my friends and I chose to respect the designated smoking zones. While we were preparing to leave, a bald staff member approached us. Initially, he seemed to want something, but his demeanor quickly turned rude. After speaking harshly with the parking security guard, he demanded we smoke outside the parking area.

Despite our agreement to his request, his tone and behavior escalated alarmingly. Even after we complied and said “okay” twice, he became aggressive, to the point where it felt like he intended to cause harm. My friend intervened to de-escalate the situation, but the employee’s rudeness continued unabated.

This interaction was deeply unsettling and disappointing. I couldn’t help but feel that if I had arrived in my own Audi, this staff member might not have behaved in such a manner. His conduct is entirely out of line with the exceptional standards I’ve come to expect from Hyatt.

I strongly believe such behavior tarnishes the reputation of your hotel. I request that you look into this matter seriously and take appropriate action. I did not ask for his name, but I trust you will be able to identify him based on the details provided.
