Bao Xuan | Flavors of China — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Today we had gone for a quiet dinner out, and chose Bao Xuan for it's ambiance. We started with cocktails and prawn spring rolls. The rolls were freshly made, delicious and the prawns were juicy and fresh. The thickness of the spring rolls was perfect, and melted in our mouths. We also tried a Chicken Sweet Corn Soup (custom made for us) and that too was amazing and the portion was impressive, even though we had shared one by two. For the main course we ordered Pan Fried Chicken Noodles with a side of Chicken in Schezuan Sauce. The chef prepared this exactly the way we expected. The service was very smooth, efficient and the staff is very polite. Bao Xuan restaurant is in my opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Kathmandu, and needs more publicity. China Garden is the best Chinese restaurant in Kathmandu.

Delicious food, beautiful ambience and good service make it the go-to place if you are in mood for Chinese fare.

The food is very tasty and hygienic. My favourites are chicken chive dim sums, red chillies stir fried prawns and burnt garlic chicken fried rice. The prawns here are specially good and definitely the best I have had in the valley.

Ambience is lovely and has an oriental touch to it. Service is great with knowledgeable and courteous servers.

Price wise for the experience it is reasonable.
