Hotel Yellow Pagoda Pokhara — Hotel in Pokhara

The rooms are decent, but the service is absolutely unacceptable. I had confirmed the previous night if hot water would be available at 5 AM, and was assured it would be. I also asked for extra towels, and the staff rudely told me they were not available and I’d have to wait till morning — no courtesy, no apology.

Come morning, there was no hot water. When I called the reception, the response was not only unhelpful but downright rude — saying “open the tap to the right side, it’s common sense.” Do they really think a guest wouldn’t try that before calling? I told him I already had, and the water was barely lukewarm — not even warm enough to wash hands. His reply? “Warm is only hot.” What kind of logic is that? And worse, it was said in the most dismissive tone.

For the price charged, I expected basic hospitality and at least respectful communication. This was a very disappointing experience, and I will certainly not be...

i had stay this hotel date on march 24/25 2025 my first day is ok all are fine but next i have to extended the room and i informed to receptionist at morning 9:50 i leave it my room key on the desk and i come back hotel at 12:30 they didn’t clean the room … next day i stayed dirty rooms ..🙂 staffs also no response anything all are unprofessional staffs and they don’t know how treat guests . i never had an experience entire my life this worst hotel .. after all i told to receptionist guy i have to talk with hotel manager easy he replied manager not available now what kind of this hotel and there no supervisor no manager no nothing 👎…. i kindly request don’t go...

Yellow Pagoda locates at Dam side and is very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are decent and provide all amenities. The food at their restaurant is really good, specially the Thali set. From the rooftop you get to see the beautiful Himalayas and the Phewa lake aswell. They lack outer space for relaxation, no garden or anything, which is a bummer. They have basement parking space. And most importantly they have good customer service, from the top level management to all other departments, they are at your service, they make sure the guests are well taken care of.
