NOT KID FRIENDLY was hanging out as a family by the pool first full day on the trip. When I noticed a security staff member having a conversation with my parents, they had told me the reason the staff member arrived and what she has said was ridiculous. We where instructed that we had to be quite and not splash people because there was board members at the resort. Which we where playing Marco Polo before the arrival of the staff member not bothering anyone and three other people where in the pool, at the opposite side producing just as much noise as we where. Ridiculous that a staff member would instruct us of this after someone had called for no credible reason. This I find is crazy because after we had proceeded to play more Marco Polo and go on with our day. Then we arrive back at our room on the fith story when we notice a older gentleman and 3 younger adults looked around 17-20 doing just as we where playing games and having some fun just as we where. When I notice the same security personnel walking by them freely not talking to them at all. When then we her approach a group of one gentleman and 2 lady’s relaxing next to where we where being bugged by her actions and interrupting there stay at this place. Which I find ridiculous. Aswell when we had walked across to the so called “beach” and I appreciate nature but this was more rocks and a danger zone that anything. Jet skis going by you at 40-50 mph and there is a buoy out to keep them away from swimmers. This was similar at different beaches we where casually snorkeling having fun when we get blown passed by a jet ski! Unbelievable I think to myself. As well as the beach is said to be “private” but has open access to the public and the gate from the resort just keeps you in and others out. The beach across the street is open to anyone. We then head back to go in the hot tub which we assume is in good condition NO is isn’t at all the edge is all broken with sharp dangerous plastic. I cut my foot on a peice and the jets intake was horribly loud due to low water levels. Couldn’t believe it please TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. The all inclusive up the streets half a mile is beautiful and my parents honeymooned there please use money there or anywhere...

We just came back from staying a week here and rented a Penthouse unit in Indigo. There is just so much to say, so I will shorten it. The view, grounds and pools are the best part of this complex. The majority of the people who work there are not friendly, which is odd for Aruba. When you have a question and text the number provided to you, no one ever gets back to you. I had to produce passports of every person staying in the condo, regardless of age, so they could make copies or else I would be locked out of the unit. When I questioned this, I was told it is mandated by the government. Yet, after speaking with family members who come every year to Aruba and stay in hotels, that was not the case for them. The unit needed a decent amounyvof attention and for what they charge, it's shameful. Moldy shower stalls, rusted and falling apart grill, stained cushions on the deck, dented dishwasher, washing machine that didn't work.... They stated that chairs and umbrellas are provided for guests at the beach across the street, which was not true!

There was a fire alarm that went off in a unit 2 doors down from us. NO ONE ever came to check on things. I ended up calling security to report it after checking to make sure there wasn't actually a fire! The fire alarms must not be monitored.

In short, we will never stay there again and would never recommend it to anyone. There are much better places to stay that are close to restaurants, beaches, shops... and are much more affordable. It's a shame because the grounds, pools and quietness of the property...

As you can see from my other reviews, I am not one to complain. Upon arrival, we were happy with the property, but that changed throughout our stay. ||The Good: |Great location, beautiful grounds, spacious condo with a gorgeous view. Staff is friendly. Well stocked with plates/cutlery/cookware. Free parking. ||The bad: ||Drier did not work upon arrival (this is a common problem). Took two days to get it fixed and they took the parts from another drier in another unit. Place was still dusty when we arrived in areas so I don’t think it was detail cleaned. Rickety furniture. No beach chairs included in the rental and the ones available at the front desk were all booked out during our stay. Very scratchy cheap feeling bedsheets. Black mold on the walls in the laundry area. The worst was the GIGANTIC COCKROACH that I found in our room. There is a sheet in the info binder saying that the property does not offer compensation for insects so this is definitely an ongoing issue. We brought this to the attention of the front desk and their solution was to have pest control in after our stay ended, and to provide us with a can of insect spray. I would never, ever stay there again, nor would I recommend anyone to stay there. There are tons of other options to choose from that are better value...

The Blue Residence is the perfect location, we arrived through spring break and it was incredibly nice to have a place that has it all! The staff were very polite in greeting us, any questions on site throughout the week were answered and the services inclusive of an awesome beach with options in both directions of Juanita beach across from our pale and a short walk to Eagle and Palm. The scooters were a blast to get around the kids Loved it especially on boardwalks and even at night. Safe is understatement!!! We felt safer then home, because it was felt like we were at home!

Overall we had a pleasant stay and experience with Blue Residences. Our two bedroom suite had beautiful ocean views which definitely made our stay even more enjoyable! The suite was well equipped with everything you need including a washer/dryer. The infinity pools were nice, the kids enjoyed them very much, although some of the tiles were coming loose. The small, quiet beach is across the street. Wish they had a bar or cafe, only restaurant onsite was the Infini but no children allowed so we didn’t go.

Akiel was our guy 💓‼️ The fact that this was their first night doing outside dining and they did well with it makes me want to return for another experience. The live one-man band was awesome! He had so many songs that he rattled off and popped that guitar that we couldn't help ourselves by joining in and singing with him. The food was AMAZING!!! It was filled with so much flavor and was presented very well. The hostesses were very friendly and the hospitality was wonderful!!
