Go here for the experience and the atmosphere! So romantic and absolutely fantastic sitting by the ocean while having dinner.
We were warmly greeted and offered a complementary glass of champagne to kick off the dinner celebration! (We were in Aruba for our honeymoon) we were escorted by a very friendly young lady to our table and our waiter made sure we had ample “candlelight” and set us up with cocktails almost immediately (after a few minutes to look over the menu) and warm bread and butter and olive relish.
Cocktails were good - The famous Aruba Ariba and the Summer Rose. Tasty, fruity and refreshing!
For an appetizer I got the Caribbean Calabaza soup and it was tasty. I’d say a 4 out of 5 stars to be honest. Definitely enjoyed it!
My husband ordered the coconut grouper (not fresh but he went for it anyway) and he thoroughly enjoyed the coconut crusted fish with a coconut cream sauce.
My steak was unfortunately not great. Flavor was good but very gristly. And because it was dark, it was very hard to see where I was cutting into the steak to navigate around those gristle parts. Unfortunately ended up being about half the steak. Ended up giving up and not eating much of it.
Our waiter surprised with a mini dessert complete with a sparkler to celebrate our honeymoon.
Service was fantastic! We were checked in many times by our server and the food runners and the young man that brought us our cocktails were all very professional and polite.
My overall recommendation is to have this experience!!! The food was good - not great but the service, hospitality, atmosphere and ambience made up for the lack of excellent food. My husband and I had a great romantic dinner and made a...
Read morePassions on the Beach is an absolute culinary gem nestled along the pristine shores of Eagle Beach in Aruba. My recent dining experience here left me utterly impressed. From the moment my friend and I stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. We started our meal with a Caesar salad that boasted freshness and flavor, followed by the herbed crusted salmon accompanied by perfectly cooked asparagus. My friend opted for the Teriyaki chicken with broccoli, which was equally delightful. Every dish was expertly presented and bursting with exquisite taste, showcasing the chef's mastery in the kitchen. To conclude our feast, we indulged in a decadent brownie dessert and creamy cheesecake, both of which were heavenly. Each bite was a journey of culinary bliss.
What truly elevated our dining experience was the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Denise. Her attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine care ensured that our evening was nothing short of perfect. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make recommendations, enhancing our overall enjoyment of the meal. Moreover, the restaurant's idyllic location right on Eagle Beach provided a breathtaking backdrop, especially during sunset, making it an unforgettable dining experience. Passions on the Beach undoubtedly earns my highest recommendation for anyone seeking exceptional food, impeccable service, and a picturesque...

Let me start with the good: the view was stunning. Even with a few clouds, we were treated to a gorgeous Aruban sunset with pink skies—absolutely romantic. Our server was a delight: warm, charismatic, and very attentive. She really made us feel welcome.
Now, the food: I had the black fettuccine with seafood, and it was pretty good. Not life-changing, but definitely enjoyable. My wife wasn’t blown away by her dish either, though she liked it enough. We both agreed the food was solid—but not quite worth the premium price.
Unfortunately, the ambiance had… issues. The most surprising (and least talked about in reviews I read) was the smell. There was a powerful sewer-like stench that would occasionally waft through the air, and frankly, it killed the vibe. It was strong enough to compete with the aroma of our food—and not in a good way.
Then came the flies. Aggressive, relentless little creatures that hovered like they owned the place. I found myself racing against them just to finish my meal. It felt like a dinner duel.
In summary: Passions on the Beach has charm, great staff, and a gorgeous view, but between the smell, the flies, and the price tag, it just didn’t live up to...
