The Butterfly Farm in Aruba is a delightful and serene attraction that offers an up-close look at the fascinating world of butterflies. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a lush tropical garden filled with vibrant plants, tranquil water features, and, of course, hundreds of butterflies fluttering around in a beautiful, enclosed sanctuary. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers, families, and anyone looking for a relaxing yet educational experience.

One of the highlights of our visit was the guided tour. The knowledgeable and friendly staff shared interesting facts about the butterfly life cycle, their behaviors, and the importance of conservation efforts. It was amazing to see caterpillars, chrysalises, and newly emerged butterflies up close. The chrysalis wall, where you can witness butterflies hatching in real-time, was especially mesmerizing. Our guide also gave great tips on how to attract butterflies at home, making the visit both engaging and informative.

The small shop at the entrance was another pleasant surprise. It offers unique butterfly-themed souvenirs, from delicate jewelry to colorful artwork and books about butterflies. The selection was well-curated, and we appreciated the opportunity to take a little piece of the experience home with us.

Overall, The Butterfly Farm is a must-visit in Aruba. It’s a peaceful retreat filled with beauty and wonder, making it a memorable stop for visitors of all ages. Whether you're a butterfly enthusiast or just looking for a unique experience, this place is well...

The Butterfly Farm in Aruba offers a truly captivating and intimate encounter with a dazzling array of these delicate creatures. Despite its small footprint, the garden is teeming with far more butterflies and moths than one could have imagined possible in a single space.

The admission price includes a return pass, allowing visitors the flexibility to come back and explore the garden again during their stay on the island. While the guided tours can be a bit haphazard at times, one of the knowledgeable staff members, Stephen, proved to be a wealth of information, sharing insights not only about the remarkable butterflies and moths, but also about Aruba's unique cultural and natural heritage.

The shaded garden provides a respite from the island's scorching heat, though the temperatures can still be quite intense. Guests are encouraged to help themselves to the complimentary water available in the on-site café, a thoughtful amenity that helps ensure a comfortable experience.

The Butterfly Farm undoubtedly offers a unique and enchanting glimpse into the vibrant world of these delicate creatures. However, one cannot help but ponder the practicality and ecological impact of importing such a large number of butterflies and moths to sustain this attraction. Nonetheless, for those seeking a intimate and educational encounter with these animals, a visit to the Butterfly Farm is a memorable and...

Farm - I stopped by the attraction during the afternoon, it was busy and service was still outstanding. I got served in less than five minutes at the ticket counter and the cost of the tickets was rather cheap. The place was beautiful, with extraordinary amount of butterfly species, variety of birds and colourful fishes and plants. The music was soft and calm that complimented the environment and animals very well.

Staff - I was offered a free ticket at the counter to come back another day, that was very kind and generous of the staff. The tour staff was very informative, she was smart, she had passion for her work and she was a delight to listen to. In my general experience in Aruba, they have a way of making you feel like a friend or family. The ladies called me sweety and the gentleman's called me mami. I liked it.

Food & Beverage - I ordered a large cookie and a glass of Coca-Cola for five dollars, it was a nice end of the tour to rest in shade from the blistering Aruban heat.

Overall, I enjoyed spending time with the animals, shopping for souvenirs, having a cold drink in nature and spending time talking to the locals. I am satisfied that I made the attraction part of my Aruban experience. A British love to One...

The Butterfly Farm is one of my favorite places to visit whenever I go to Aruba! Such a friendly and helpful staff make it a fantastic place to visit. I love the idea of kids learning something while on vacation, without the kids even realizing it. This place never disappoints. Upon entering the farm section it is like being transported from a Caribbean island to the middle of a tropical rain forest (and, if you've ever walked around Aruba, then you know it isn't a tropical rain forest)! It really is a magical place. The tour is fun and informative, the gift shop lovely and has a surprisingly varied selection. And, they even have a great little cafe where you can get delicious food and drinks that are fresh and are they offer healthy options as well. My personal favorites are the homemade lemonade and homemade chocolate chip cookies (are you noticing a trend here? Most everything is made on premises or homemade). I love visiting here and find that the entire experience is very reasonably priced! I know that it has been said before, but this place truly is a gem!

My husband and I came to Aruba for our honeymoon. We were recommended the Butterfly farm. The staff are incredibly friendly and approachable. As we walked around, a staff member approached us and offered a tour. She was very knowledgeable, super nice and was happy to answer questions. On tour, we saw the entire life cycle of the butterfly (starting with the eggs on the plants, we were able to touch the caterpillars, they have many stations for the cocoons/ chrysalises and of course the adult butterflies). She also showed us the different types of species of butterflies/moths and explained some really cool facts about feeding, breeding, life span etc. Super informative! We would recommend going when it opens at 8:30. It wasn’t super busy and not too warm! The boutique is super cute. We got a few souvenirs. They also offer you a ticket that allows you to come back for free (it’s valid for a one time visit and good for up to a month). They also have a small cafe with drinks so you can feel refreshed too. Would highly recommend! :)
