Fairway Lodge Resort — Hotel in North Island

We have stayed at Fairway Lodge many times over the years, and it never disappoints. The units are spacious and can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. Queen bed upstairs room, 2 single beds (quite narrow for tall teenage boys - but they managed ) in the back room, and a double pullout in the lounge. The units have two full bathrooms upstairs and 1 WC downstairs. Great refurbished kitchen which has everything you need to make meals - oven, cooktop and microwave. Each unit has its own spa, which is always a real treat. Communal tepid pools and a BBQ area. There are tennis courts, trampoline, pool table/games room and bikes for onsite entertainment. Free wi-fi, which is extremely useful. A short walk to the beach (has the lifeguard building here) , local dairy and eateries (fish & chips, Indian and a café). A short drive and you are in the Mounts city center - lots of cafes, bars, eateries. And, of course everyone needs to do the walk around or up the Mount. Clean -...

Our first time staying at fairway lodge and we were there 7 days. Had everything we needed, very clean and spacious. We have 4 young children between the ages of 9-3years old and the unit was very safe for them to be in. Spa to each unit was great, tennis court and bikes were accessible and perfect for each of us, washing machine/dryer even better when on holiday with children. It was our first time staying here and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Very spacious and clean unit with everything available to use. We have a 3 and a half year old and 8month old girl and we found it very safe for them to move around in. Enjoyed the catchup with the owners and other guests. We are definitely looking forward to spending more time here with our girls over the years. Good location with access to shops and restaurants and a short walk to beach which we made the most of.
