Wish I had read the reviews before booking this place. The list of negatives is huge so here goes. When we arrived the place looked unloved, long lawns and messy gardens, not a good first impression. No one in office either, automated check in. On entering, the unit was smelly and unclean. From marks on the lounge wall (looked like faeces) to chipped paint on the kitchen cupboards, mismatched chairs, ripped curtains, broken window joinery, no smoke alarm in the lounge, dings in the walls, ants crawling up the wall, ill fitting wardrobe door, different light bulbs in bathroom which didn't work anyway, toilet that dripped continuously and near flat batteries in the TV remotes. Also the unit layout was different from that advertised. There was 1 x UHT milk in the fridge for 3 people for 2 nights, when questioned, apparently this is all they provide for the duration of your stay!! It didn't even do 1 coffee. Luckily there is a BP across the road to purchase milk which should be provided. There was also very little toilet paper provided and the shampoo/hand wash was also very low. The manager walked around in trackpants, very unprofessional, and none of the cleaners made eye contact or even spoke, that says it all really. Only redeeming feature, the shower had excellent pressure, that's why I gave it 1 star as opposed to 0 stars. WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!! Up ya game. ...

I booked a family room, Room stated, (as per their website) All beds are equipped with electric blanket and mattress toppers - this was not the case, none had any of that but x2 thin sheets and a thin white blanket. Sofa - didn’t have, got three small chairs, dinning table & chairs - didn’t have, oven - a tiny portable one, wouldn’t have been able to cook in it for my family of 4. No milk provided upon check in or in room. Bathroom, dirty, stained and some type of liquid was running down the mirror. I refused to stay there, as I booked via booking.com I asked them to seek refund as I needed to find new accommodation for that night. They have emailed the motel x2 possibly 3 and no response, I now too have emailed x2 and again no reply.
I was advised I was being put into the better family unit their premium room apparently, yet I am struggling to see how so?! I can’t find a single photo of the room we were put in on booking.com or their actual website… I felt very mislead and the feel I should be given a refund given I didn’t stay as it purely wasn’t a change of mind or circumstances it was because I didn’t get what I thought I had booked. Read moreThis motel is nowhere near as good as the photos they post online—it's misleading and deceptive. From the moment I arrived, I was disappointed. There should be clear indications that this is being used as emergency housing by WINZ. The neighbors were incredibly noisy, banging around until midnight, and the air conditioning made loud, disruptive noises throughout the night. The utensils, plates, and cups were filthy, and there were broken tiles and missing light bulbs in the bathroom. The jets were broken, and the paint job was patchy. One of the room’s door handles was broken, and the bathroom door didn’t even close properly, let alone lock. There was no switch to turn on the fan in the bathroom, and bugs were everywhere. To top it off, the shampoo, body wash, and hand wash were all empty. The couch was a complete mess, not only was it broken but there were chips stuffed in there, socks too. There was even a shirt in the bedroom drawer. Clearly the cleaning crew don’t clean it...
