Mapua 41 South — Hotel in South Island

We highly recommend Mapua 41 South! My wife and I recently stayed in the larger Orange unit, while our friend rented the Blue unit. Both options are fully updated with quality finishes and are nicely decorated. While we did not meet his wife Lynn, the owner John is very personable and accommodating. They are readily available if any problem arises, although we had none.

I recently stayed five nights in the Blue Studio unit at Mapua 41 South, and it was excellent. The studio was well-appointed, featuring a comfortable queen bed, modern bathroom, kitchenette and a cosy living area. The patio with a barbecue and outdoor seating was great for chilling in the summer evenings. Located close to local shops and just a short walk to the wharf, with plenty of great dining options.
