Albertas — Restaurant in Tasman

We came in last Friday to your eatery for the first time. It was extremely disappointing!! Just as we were about to order a few other people walked in a lined up. Instead of the young girl (wearing glasses) taking the time to serve each customer appropriately or even calling for another staff member to come help her she just rushed through the orders not taking any care at all. She originally missed one of our food orders, pretty useless really when there was only two people ordering. We both brought items from the food cabinet, mine a savory scone and my friends a zucchini brioche, we had to ASK to each to be heated up and to please accompany them with some relish which they desperately needed. She gave us one teaspoon sized dish to SHARE!! the brioche was the worse source of food ever brought in Mapua. So deceiving was the top full of zucchini and other goodies but that was only 1cm of topping the rest of the 10cm was blatant bread, nothing else. Our iced coffees were the laziest form of talent and with a glass of milky coffee with a floating scoop of ice cream, meant you had to find a spoon and mix the beverage up yourself to consume it properly. Appalling for 9$ each What a waste of time and money!! And we are locals!! I will never again chance my money to see if you've cleaned up your customer service skills which means you've lost two customers for life. Upon leaving I saw two ladies eating lunch together outside, one was consuming the same item i brought and her plate had a massive salad and relish with it, making it look more like a hearty lunch, why weren't we offered that option? Because your staff simply want to get paid and go home!!...

As a local, I had visited Albertas number of times with friends. A few first times it was an enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and the service was good too. The last three times the service was terrible. The last time we set outside. The place was not very full, almost empty. I ordered chia tea with cardamom and my friend cocoa. We waited over 15 minutes and no show of our order. My friend went inside to look what is going on. The waiter was just finishing our order and asked my friend if he would like her to bring it outside to us. He replied that we will probably not live that long. The waitress then handed him the two cups to take it outside. I am also sorry to say that I did not get my specifically ordered chia tea with cardamom, but got one with cinnamon that I am not too fond off. I don't think I or my friends will be visiting this place soon again. I gave them three times a chance and was...
