Ā Ā Ā Read moreEdit: Iām big time disappointed at the customer service this year. These people are doing more talking than listening lately. The passive aggressive tone. The lack of compassion for a customer who is going through grieve and asking a modification for a 1 night booking. Iām very disgusted to say the list to think I wanted to modify my reservation with booking without a penalty to a later date with them due to a recent loss. They are being very irrational even with me wanted to push my date. Thatās greed and a show of appreciation for a returning guest. The refusal to let me speak to a manager and non chalant behavior speaks volumes! Horrible.
Marriot Ikeja is worth all the hype and more. I was here during this past Christmas period 2022 for a couple days prior relocating to the island and I enjoyed every bit of my stay. Serene environment, amenities, food, ambiance and staff were top notch.
Though there was a bit of issue with the staff by the pool side initially profiling me as a ā random girl who came there to get picturesā and pretty much embarrassed me so much and even refused me service. Needless to say this led to my wanting to leave. However, seeing that these staff are just a couple compared to the nice people I had came across during my stay.
I reached out to the amazing staff whom had initially booked my room via phone while I was in the states (Ima) regarding my complaints and she immediately stepped in and also invited the attention of the The manager āMr. Tekloā I believe is his name. Mr. T responded immediately to handled the issues, and did so professionally and prompt with such grace yet sternness and held their staff accountable for this unfavorable treatment towards myself and my guest. Thanks for everything! The apology wine and treats. Iāll def be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs experienced travellers from the UK and US, we found the hotel to be overpriced for the quality and service we received. We think that with a few improvements, we would definitely increase our score.
Pros front desk receptionist Elizabeth is exceptional. She helped my wife and I navigate a bad situation which involved the airline losing our suitcases A very clean hotel. Although there were a couple of instances where janitors didn't clean up after guests and we had to move tables due to food on the floor in the lobby Great location Liked that there were multiple restaurants available for dining. Great that there was a late night menu which was amazing for us who arrived late in Nigeria after flying in from the UK The rooms are noise proof. We didnt hear other guests Overall, good customer service from hotel staff
Cons Food was not the best quality. My wife was sick daily after eating at the various restaurants. The steaks we ordered from the pool bar were low quality, and they got our orders mixed up Overall, overpriced for the service we received and stay. We had to wait a minimum of 45 minutes for any food/drink order. There were no premium products in the bathroom. The elevator system is very flawed. This view was shared by the multiple guests we shared the elevators with too. Its a functional issue which can be resolved to minimise waiting time The meal options were not up to a standard we expect from a Marriott hotel, and for the price we paid The bathroom sink was blocked. When it was fixed, the plumber did not move my wife's things and they were soaking wet. These were items which were needed as we were due to have our traditional wedding the next day. As a result, we had to stay up late cleaning and...
