When we stayed at Bodhi in July, it was still being built! There are currently two private rooms in the main house, as well as a loft that's being used as a dorm; when all is finished, there will be several private cabanas in the back, the private rooms will be converted to dorms, and the loft will be converted to a yoga space. The communal kitchen and bathroom are really lovely; hoping they are able to add another bathroom during the expansion process! The communal space is currently a front porch with a table and a few hammocks; it was comfortable, but not the most inviting space. There's no WiFi (the public WiFi across the street doesn't work well from the property), and there's no furniture in the private rooms besides a bed - no trash can, no hooks, no desks or nightstands - nada. The location is excellent; it's only a five-minute walk from the beach and is near tons of restaurants. The staff were very sweet, but the owners left the management to a couple of teenagers the first night or two we were there (I believe they were out of town) who seemed more preoccupied with hanging out with their friends while their parents were away than being in charge of a guesthouse. I think that when this place is finished, it will be amazing; right now, it's a nice place to stay that needs some...

Read moreI chose this hotel because i found it a good location. But after arriving here I recognized that it is close to the beach were the fishers are and you can rent kayaks. But the beach were the people surf and chill is 20-25min to walk (playa Estero). So it is close to some shops and restaurants but there are also some on the way to Playa Estero. So for me i did not prolong the stay because of the location and because there were some things i did not like so much.
no warm water dorms way to small with no storage, no possibility to hang something up in the rooms. in total only two bathrooms for the dorms and the kitchen/chill area bin way to small in the bathroom no railing on the upper bunk beds, no storage there too, no charging possibilities no milk for breakfast only milk powder; but they have a fridge?? chill area and kitchen is not super big if a lot of people cook and eat there is not a lot of space. laundry pretty expensive compared to other bodhi hotels (7.5$) they call themselves on their website a hostel with focus on „yoga and meditation“, but have no yoga or meditation lessons??
Its pretty cheap though with breakfast included. But for me i did not feel so comfortable in the dorms and slept always bed so i was...
