El Manglar Original — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

We had a 6 hour layover in Lima on our way back home to the states, and I wanted some Peru seafood - I decided to take a taxi to a well reviewed restaurant near by and found El Manglar. It was perfect! I wouldn’t recommend walking around outside, not much else to do - but inside was safe, clean and delicious. Wonderful staff! Reasonably priced. We had the El Manglar Cerviche (wonderful!) the seafood chaufa which was more like fried rice was delicious and the aroz con mariscos which was creamy and more of a risotto, which i liked even more! Our food was delicious. As an American tourist, you always hear stories of the fear of eating fish at different countries, well don’t miss out here.

Visite el local con compañeros de trabajo, la comida regular, los precios varían de 40 soles a más, las bebidas no tenían presentaciones de mas de 1 litro en ese momento, los refrescos parecían agua con azúcar y el precio de 19 soles , los hice retornar. No vale la pena a pesar del cambio. La atención regular, los servicios higiénicos limpios y en buen estado de conservación. La música demasiado elevada para un restaurant , dónde uno va a comer y disfrutar. Espero que mejoren en el restaurant y vean...
