My husband and I landed in Lima late at night, close to midnight. Don Julio and his daughter ensured that we had a safe and fairly priced ride from the airport. Upon arrival to our room, we appreciated how tidy the place was: clean, fresh linen, spotless floors (we even felt comfortable walking barefoot), hygienic bathrooms, and amazing shower water pressure. Don Julio made us a delicious breakfast in the morning, which carried us throughout our long day of traveling to Aguas Calientes—I’m still thinking about the fried bread to this moment! Lastly, he dropped us off at the airport to catch our connecting flight to Cusco the next morning. The cleanliness, the hospitality, and the price is absolutely unbeatable.
