Mama Chelita — Hotel in Nazca

I had earlier promised to write a good review of this place. It does have a lot of good features. The price is good and the wifi worked fine. the ladies here were very attentive.

But, unfortunately, on the day before we were to leave someone broke into our room. I am sure I locked it. They stole my expensive camera and three phones. Two people came in while we were relaxing for just a few minutes on the terrace. The lady in the front later admitted that she didn't recognize them. In that case she should have stopped them. We are out hundreds of dollars due to this lack of security.

I wasn't going to write any of this because the ladies here really are nice. I don't like giving bad reviews, but I owe it to other travelers. If you do stay here be sure and hide your valuables better...

The manager was brilliant, meeting us at the bus station at 6am to take us to the hostel. He let us into our room straight away and even let us have a breakfast 'upfront' so we could eat and go straight for a nap. He spoke brilliant English and gave some great suggestions for things to do, because of him we did the best dune buggy and arceology site tour ever. ||They have an awesome roof top terrace were we had breakfast and relaxed after a full day. ||The room smelt super musty probably because there is no door handle to keep the bathroom door closed. The furnishings are very old 90s style in both the rooms and common areas. Those were the only down sides though....

Avevamo scelto questa struttura leggendo i giudizi positivi, ma non possiamo assolutamente condividerli. La stanza che ci è stata assegnata era piccola e buia, i muri sporchi e scrostati, il letto scomodo a mal fatto. Il bagno aveva anch'esso i muri scrostati, la tazza del wc era priva di tavoletta. La colazione in terrazza è stata un'altra delusione: sul tavolo abbiamo trovato un barattolo di marmellata già aperto e usato chissà quante volte; la richiesta del caffellatte ha messo in grosse difficoltà: non c'era caffè, neppure quello solubile (fortunatamente noi ne avevamo ed abbiamo usato quindi il nostro), come non c'era il latte; dopo un po' sono arrivati con una lattina di latte condensato. Il wifi funzionava piuttosto male. Nella hall della reception si ha la poco poetica visione di un gabinetto privo di porta. I tour proposti (e che abbiamo accettato per evitare perdite di tempo nella ricerca) avevano prezzi piuttosto alti. Considerata la scarsissima qualità del tutto, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è assolutamente negativo. Non ci sentiamo certamente di consigliare questa struttura e ci sconcertano i giudizi positivi che altri hanno lasciato.||||Unico elemento positivo la cortesia dello staff: hanno mandato un collaboratore ad aspettarci all'arrivo del bus e anche a riaccompagnarci alla partenza; ci hanno permesso di tenere la stanza oltre l'orario del check out senza...
