Restaurante La Encantada — Restaurant in Nazca

So we went to eat for lunch and, at the beginning, except for the cold welcome, all was good. We received our food and a good orange juice. My food was with seafood which clearly wasn't fresh. It was hard to eat and the taste was strange. I hope I am not sick tomorrow. When the time to pay comes, we are surprised the price seems more high than expected. I go to take a menu to check it out and the prices on the menu are actually not the same as on the bill. We tell it to waiter who indeed sees the mistake between the two prices but still tell us we have to pay the price of the bill. They never accepted their mistake and we had to pay the full price, almost twice the expected price for one dish. I want to precise I went to take the menu by my own because the customer just next to us was also thinking there was a mistake in its bill but the waiter came with a new menu which was showing the price of the bill. Finally, I noticed I am not the first to write that the prices on the bill and on the menu were not the same. This is nothing but a trap for tourists. Do not go to...

So my husband and I went on vacation to Nazca-Peru and we didn't know where to eat so I google the reviews and We found this place. The reviews showed this place as the best in town so we decided to go. Attencion was friendly but inefficient. Our food did looked good until we tried it. Ugg! the seafood rice was extremely spicy... The rice wasn't creamy as it's supposed to be.... The seafood was not fresh so very hard to chew... And above all it was OVERPRICED. Turistic place We get it! But not for frozen.. Chewy and excessively hot food. Never again! Something else the waiter was nice but didn't do anything for us when we told him the food was to spicy to be eaten... We couldn't even finish half the plate and of course had to go to a pharmacy to treat indigestion....

Our experience at La Encantada unfortunately was not a good one.

People in town recommended it so we went there, however the service was bad, zero interest in serving us and not well organized, our order was not correct when it arrived and it took half the meal to fix it. In terms of food the ají de gallina was not bad but nothing special, the potatoes in it were cold though, the meat was not cooked right, not very tasty and the palta from the salad tasted a bit rotten.

After this we avoided even tasting dessert.

For where we were and quality of food I feel like we paid too much.
