A very solid recommendation from our hotel receptionist. We were looking for a roast chicken restaurant Pollo a la Brasa. This place specialises in roast chicken so we figured we’d just stick with the main dish. The chips were perfect, not too crunchy and not too soft. The sauces were good, go for the aji in the green bottle.
We ordered a whole chicken to share and decided that we needed another half to feed 5. Add on a pitcher of frozen limonada and a pitcher of frozen macacuya (passion fruit juice) and we were all set.
There’s some good looking dessert too but we didn’t get any this time.

Read moreHey there, tourist! Stop searching for restaurants in Nasca, and eat at this place. I myself am a tourist, and had an amazing experience here. A restaurant with great prices, big portions and tasteful chicken. But also other stuff.
We had the noodles and soup - it was great. Was it the best food ever eaten in Peru? No. But, it is well priced good enough food, exactly what we tourist all want. A Lomo Saltado for around 20S, how great is that? The whole city seemed to be eating here this night, great atmosphere.
Stop searching and go...
Read moreOrdered 1/2 pollo a la brasa (1/2 grilled chicken) for S/28 at 5:54pm on a Tuesday. FYI, it comes with fries and a salad. The order arrived at 6:06pm. The restaurant is large with tons of space at the back. Lots of locals are here to enjoy the food. Wonderful local music is blaring in the background. I didn't buy any desserts, but it seems pretty nice. The chicken is very soft and just a hair too dry. The fries are soft on the inside and crispy on the inside. The salad's vegetables are quite fresh...
