Hotel Bolivar — Hotel in Tacna

We had asked for a quiet room but received a noisy one. Perhaps they don't have quiet ones. This hotel is on one of the main streets in Tacna. The room was barely bigger than the bed and although there was a window, it was quite dark. The bed was comfortable however the pillow case barely hid a very dirty pillow. We booked through booking.com and when we checked out they gave us a very poor rate for soles in relation to the price in US dollars in which we had been quoted. Can't...

I have stayed a couple of times at this hotel now in recent trips to Tacna. The staff is really friendly, the beds are super comfortable, and most importantly for me the we-fi works just like it should. I am travelling with a discount card called the Inticard which is accepted at this hotel and gives a 20% discount off the regular price making this hotel a bargain. Would definitely recommend this...

Llegamos a este hotel ilusionados por su excelente ubicación, en plena avenida Bolognesi. Al llegar el personal es muy amable y la recepción se ve bien. ||||La sorpresa nos llegó cuando entramos en nuestra habitación triple: era muy, pero muy pequeña, apenas se podía caminar. Además las instalaciones no son buenas, nunca tuvimos servicio de agua caliente y el baño tenía problemas constructivos y el agua de la ducha se derramaba e inundaba al piso del baño. ||||El hotel es muy ruidoso, se escuchan ruidos desde el exterior durante toda la noche, llegando a ser muy molestos si se viaja con niños pequeños. ||||El desayuno incluido es frugal y de mala calidad, especialmente el pan. Si se reserva a través de la página de booking no te brindan estacionamiento y puedes negociar, pagando, uno con el que tienen convenio alejado unas 4 a 5 cuadras del hotel.
