When read the reviews saying it was the best place ever, It was hard to picture, But once I got there, I immediately understood: this place is mesmerizing!!! It is calm, peaceful, beautiful, & absolutely unique, and even better than the pictures . Catch the sunset & look at the Milky Way on the terrace. Gina & Clemente are exceptional people, they took care of us as if we were family & shared there culture with us in a very warm & educative way. Food is amazing (fresh caught trout) breakfast is huge! (ask for half if you don't eat too much) they also brought us warm bottle for our feet at night, that was the sweetest thing to do. I recommend to eat in the lodge to enjoy the place the most possible, otherwise you can take the boat to go to a restaurant. Hosting/service is top level! Take pills to prep for altitude to get the most out of your trip. We visited the Uros community & Taquille Island : really worth it and the host were flexible with helping Us.
