Inkas Yllari Hotel Cusco — Hotel in Wanchaq

I was locked out in the middle of the day 2 times. Breakfast is always late and it appears things are left out overnight, then still there to serve in the morning The milk was spoiled two mornings. I refused to try the lunch meat. My first room had no hot water. I was put off one day, then forced to move—with no assistance—to another room THAT EXACT MINUTE the next day. Could not even finish my rather poor instant coffee. Had to ask for towels twice as they left me none. There’s a microwave in the hall, but you can’t plug it in. The hotel has no heat and little hot water. The temperatures overnight fell to the 30’sF.

I was here 1.5 weeks for a program and didn’t book the hotel myself. If I’d been on my own, I’d have left.

UPDATE: was forced by my program to leave some luggage here for 2 nights, then come back to stay an additional night. My luggage was ransacked and things stolen....

This hotel is located close to the mall in Cusco and offers some great perks. First of all the recption area - a nice relaxing atmosphere with tea/coffee/vending machine accessible. Clean & modern. Attentive staff. The rooms are all en-suite and there are options - single, twin, double etc. Clean, hot water showers, wifi & cable tv available. A 5 minute taxi ride to the city centre and plenty of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. Accessible by public transport. A fine option to take when...

Me hospedé en este hotel del 18 al 23 de junio. Lo compro en un paquete turístico de 900 soles incluido tours, acceso a macchu picchu, entre otros. Para el costo estuvo muy bueno y lo recomiendo. Tiene agua caliente, eso es importante por el frío que hace, pese a haber ido en temporada seca. la cama es cómoda, hacen limpieza todos los días. El piso es alfombrado lo cual es ideal para cual te despierta y empiezas a andar por el cuarto ya que el piso (mayólica) de por sí es muy frío. Tiene una TV de 32 pulgadas con cable lo suficiente para no aburrirte al menos las pocas horas que estás en el hotel. Te da desayuno buffet incluido, es lo básico panes, mantequilla, queso, mermelada, yogurt, jugos, ensalada de fruta, entre otros. es hasta las 8.30 am, Asi que si quieres desayunar tiene que ser temprano. No tuve ningún problema con mis cosas no se llevaron nada en lo absoluto.El check out es las 10 am. y si gustas te pueden guardar tu equipaje en su almacén sin costo adicional. Por lo generales es un hotel para turistas e ingenieros de las diversas minas que hay en cusco. Hay un portero toda la noche asi que si sales a divertirte tendrás quien te habrá la puerta. Su ubicación es a 10 minutos del aeropuerto, puedes ir caminando al centro comercial REAL PLAZA CUSCO. Eso si de noche es un poco desolado y oscuro ya que en esa avenida hay talleres de autos.
