Enamorado Studios — Hotel in Angeles

This is a very difficult place to rate pero I will do so from a perspective of a traveler, visiting Clark for an event.

Pros: Cheap – this is the main selling point; everything else is a bonus. Meron na ding aircon, smart TV (with Netflix, and no need to log yours in), and an automatic washing machine. The rooms also comes with a gallon of mineral water, dishwashing liquid, as well as towels and shampoo. Ariel and Hanna, the landlord and caretaker respectively, are both super easy to talk to.

Now, everything beyong this point will be entirely up to YOU kung paano mo siya ipprocess – whether you will be okay with it, or it will be a dealbreaker for you. Nonetheless, for me, I would still book this place for any future weekend trips I might have.

Cons: This place is decent, but not great. Heater is hard wired to avoid using any sockets in the shower, but hangs on to its own wire by a piece of electrical cable. The sink has great pressure, pero yung drainage is a soft plastic hose that leaks. Bidet pressure is enought to clean you up pero it is apparent that the bathroom isn't cleaned thoroughly too often. This is evidenced din with mold running along the wall of the bottom if the sink kung san tumatagas yung tubig. Shower has no curtain, and the towels that come with the room are microfiber towels that I know are used for cars.

Is this place something to write home about? No. But is it a place I would recommend if someone I knew needed to stay in/near Clark for a few days? Oo, pero kung alam ko lang na hindi siya maarte about the stuff na alam kong pwedeng maka turn off sa iba.

Overall rating is three stars; one star deducted for the bathroom, one for improvement of cleaning schedule. Would still recommend kung solo traveler ka, hindi masrte, at nag titipid.

Stayed here for two ish weeks in March when it was super hot and did work online for the time. Room was down the back. Has own washing machine which is great as I gymmed or exercise everyday in the heat. Room was big for Filipino standards. Aircon and fan supplied. Shower area ok though pipes not sealed so you get friendly roachies at night. Kitchen ok but tbh I ordered grab food everyday or went to the mall. Location near everything, be careful walking on the main Street with traffic quite close to pedestrians. Side streets have random dogs so i wouldn't walk down in the evening when they're most active. Staff friendly enough and let me check in our out early/late. Internet 90mbps and TV is good quality for casting or HDMI into from...

Caretaker finally turned up 40minutes after we arrived. The neighbour assisted in shouting out from the street to wake him. Still had sleep creases on his face when he did open up and then - not even an apology and dismissive.

Failed to tell us that the internet details had changed so used personal data took work online.

Airconditioning was inadequate for the room.

Hot water intermittent.
