On our graduation day, a friend booked a room for us so that we'll have somewhere to change into our clothes for the afternoon since we have 2 graduations on that day, clinical in the morning and academic in the afternoon. we only have 2 hours to change into our attire for the afternoon, and since we know that there will be a brownout on that day, we made sure that the "hotel" has a generator, and they confirmed that they have a "standby" generator. In that 2hour interval there were 6 of us, and we all need to have our hair and make up done but there's no electricity. We went down countless times (there's no elevator and we're on the 3rd floor) since the windows can't be opened, it's stifling hot. The phone's not working. The staff were really unhelpful amd un! They kept in making excuses; they said that the operator of the generator took his lunch (there's no substitute, knowing that there will be a power outage). The electricity came back then after a few minutes, there's no power again and once again, we asked for any updates due to our time constraints (we can't style our hair because there's no power). The staff just smiled but kept on talking on her personal phone, discussing the power outage as if she's discussing her outfit so I assume that she's talking to a friend. The guard swatted my hand because I was in the banister and he needs to open the small door in the counter, I mean a simple excuse me would do, will that kill them to be polite?..Please understand that we're frustrated because we can't march on our graduation because of them! But they refused to take any responsibility, and even laughed at us and chided us because I called out their shortcomings. As a result, our hair wasn't styled and our make ups melted in our face! They made our graduation day, which is supposed to be the best day of our college life a great disappointment and frustrating. Overall, if I can recommend to change the staff I would, but a reorientation and some seminars would do for now. ||Also, please note that the soiled sheets are just in the floor outside some rooms and some garbage cans are tipped over, maybe the sanitation department should make a visit? ||To other readers, please avoid this "hotel", a pension house is actually cheaper and have great staffs compared to this place. I utterly regret my 2-3hour stay there. They gave us a graduation gift alright! A...
Read moreThere were many things wrong with this hotel and my title was just one of them. I got a room with 2 single beds and one of the mattresses was so used that it was no existent in the middle. I was basically sleeping on the wooden frame. The towels were thread bare, we were offered no help up the 3 flights of stairs with our heavy bags. No water in the room and no toilet seat! What the hell? No view and no natural light and very unsmiling, disinterested staff. The only plus was that it was pretty quiet. All of this for 720p which in a city like Bacolod where there are lots of cheap places to stay is a lot for what you get or rather-...
Read moreWent to Bacolod for a business trip during Masskara Festival, so all hotels in the city were fully booked. I ended up in this hotel or should I say a lodging place.||Rate is a bit pricey for a provincial lodging place (Php1,600++).... The hotel is located in downtown and very accessible though, so if your purpose is to attend the Masskara Festival this is the best location.||The room is small, bed sheets and pillows are a bit old...the toilet and flush isn't working properly but good thing there is hot water.||Nonetheless, this place is still acceptable if you'll just be sleeping for...
