Hotel 45 has been one of my favorites! I mean there are a lot of beaches and resorts to go to in La Union but the pointers that makes Hotel 45 stand out for me is that it is located near the main road, since some of the beaches that me and my family have been to are hard to find, yes those places are amazing but not that accessible to everyone, but in Hotel 45 you can just take the bus. It also has a wide parking area and given that me and my family travel in groups like we travel in 4-6 cars and it was surprising that we did not ran out of space to park. Another pointer is that, it has both swimming pool and beach access at the same time, since some of the resorts that we have been to La Union does only offer swimming pool. But I would advice that if you want to go to the beach, go there when it is low tide since the first time that we went there, we cannot go to the sea because the water is too high but the second time around was lucky because the water is not high and the third time and succeeding others. The rate for their rooms is 2000, and I dont know if that applies for all the rooms and for weekdays since everytime that I go there I'm with my family so it's free but I will DEFINITELY still recommend it to my friends. Another BIGGGG pointer is that they have pool with seawater!!! You can stay there while enjoying the view of the vast ocean. And I like it, LOVVEEEE it and my family also like it, now you can bring your little cuties in seawater without the worry of the waves crashing your babies as long as you look after them. I was born and raised in the highlands so I'm really not a fan of very hot temperatures and I was SOOO HAPPY when their aircon fit the way I like an aircon. There are also "bangkas" near the resort which can be paid 500 pesos for a tour to a white sand beach, inclusive of the rental for the googles and vests. However, I have Cons. When staying there overnight, they offer free breakfast, and I'm not that 1pc. egg and 1 pc. longganisa person so, I didn't much like it. Also, the STAFF, for all the times that we went there, I experienced only one time to have a friendly staff, excluding the guard, he was friendly all the time, they don't even say HELLO WELCOME TO BLAH BLAH like that upon entry, and everytime I go there to buy foods and stuffs, they don't act approachable. They also have pond there and have fishes, alive fishes, but I really dont like the condition of the pond, it has very little water and it's dirty. ||Overall, I still would...
Read moreAlot of misconceptions led me not to try this place. I thought this was a hotel, well technically yes it is, but the name frankly doesn't give justice to the amenities and services they offer. Yes, it is a hotel, but it is a family resort. Wish they opt to change the name of their place. The name for itself made me not to try it. I've seen it plenty times already but because of my misconception, I never took the chance to really so for myself what they have to offer. I really thought it was a hotel/motel--that functions the same as SOGO. Dont get me wrong, i do not intend to critique or to backslash the business, but you know, SOGO has been long renowned for its reputations. And when I see the name Hotel 45, I felt as tho it functions the same. The reason why name is very crucial. Well, im sorry for being judgy but enough of that already.
Me and my friends had a really great time celebrating her daughter's birthday. It was a simple celebration and yet we really had a valuable moment together. The pools are really big. Perfect for family occasions, reunions, celebrations, etc. The beachfront has a really stunning appeal when the sun is setting. We took great pictures and we are all smiles for all its beauty. It has another pool if anyone want to swim in salt-water pool. Its an infinity pool that has salt water from the sea itself. I guess they made it because there are occasions where there are jellyfish and thought what if people wanted to swim in the sea salt water? Ill give them a really good score for that! That really speaks alot on how concerned are they care for their customers. They have warning signs for jellyfish infestation and they have secured an infinity pool with sea salt water for people who really wanted to feel the saltyness of the sea. Alas. We had a great time! The rooms looks good as well. They are well airconditioned and bed is spacious enough. They also did a really good job maintaning the cleanliness of the place. Perfect!!! Thus all in all except for the name, it was a really good experience for me. Hope to be back really soon! All the...
Read moreThe resort itself is beautiful but the customer service is very low. Our group booked 3 rooms good for 2 and a family room. Rooms good for 2 is okay but nothing special, typical that you get what you paid for. The resort reserved a family room that looks like a public comfort room converted into a room so we asked for a change of room in which it took us to wait again for that room to get ready. It is also, not advisable for a overnight swimming for they ask everybody out of the pool at 10 pm. Also, they observe silence when it reach 10 pm which is understandable. They have a security guard roaming around asking guest to lower noise for the sake of the owner who just stayed on the resort. That is according to the security guard. At that time we are having a late night talk with friends in front of our room. We do have drinks but we do observe to minimize our noise as per respect to the security guard, management and guests. One moment he came back to us asking us to minimize our voices in which we told him that the noise do not came from our group but from the other room near us. The guard suddenly just open the door of that room and advise those guest to STOP the noise. Breakfast was a disaster and disappointing. Breakfast is serve in paper plate in front of the room together with luke-warm water for coffee and a 3 in 1 coffee pack. They serve it to you by shouting in front of your room and some of our friends experience that the server open their door just to...
