Good things in this hotel:||1. Nice scooter rental with a reasonable pricing.||2. Gave a perfect guide for a canyoneering activity with reasonable pricing.||||Things to improved:||1. Staffs were looking not friendly. Lacking of hospitality management. Should smile and greet first the guest, some of them will just look at you when you will say hi and hello.||2. Very poor pillow. Can’t imagine to sleep on such a very thin pillow even if I will use two pillows at the same time. Asked for additional pillow and they said no availability.||3. Blanket, made me really surprised with this hotel. Asked for a pillow and what they had given was a curtain to use as an additional pillow. It’s not even clearly a blanket. ||4.. Breakfast buffet in numbers and quality was poor.||5. Poor hygiene, saw a staff at the restaurant picked up the fallen spoon and put it together with the clean utensils.||6. Lack of hygienic cleaning in the bathroom.||7. Not doing the room service for cleaning ||8. Wifi was very poor and hard to get a signal.||9. View out of the window had some trash and it’s within the vicinity of the hotel.||10. Wrong positioning of the A/C, should not be directly in contact to head.||11. No small night table beside the bed. ||12. Shower positioning was not really good. It will make the whole bathroom...
Read moreThere is now a building site in front of the hotel so it didn't look appealing. We had to wait 2 hours extra for our room, apparently the previous guest was charged extra but we weren't compensated. Room 201 at the back of the hotel had 24hr cockerals crowing and an unbearably noisy aircon unit. Eventually after complaints we were given a room at the front albeit quiet the aircon was not very efficient. The bathroom shower screen was useless as the whole floor got wet and the shower head needed replacing or descaling. The toilet had no douche. There was only one bed side table, the wardrobe was useless so we lived out of the suitcase and there's nowhere for toiletries. The staff were pleasant, there was scooter hire for 400php, which was needed due to the proximity to the beach. The pool was ok but only 3 sunbeds for the whole hotel! Breakfast was not to European tastes (to be expected) so we sourced our own, there was no fridge in the room, but they allowed us to use their cold drinks fridge, tea, coffee and water were freely available. Overall for comparable money it was more hostel level than hotel, I'm sure adequate for the...
Read moreAdams View is a great stay in Moalboal! Once we found the hotel on the side road we were very pleased, with the large pool and the welcoming staff we were instantly satisfied and comfortable with our choice. Check-in was simple and quick, and the room was the same. A simple room with a tv, bed, bathroom and small table, we were able to relax and unwind after the long car journey from Cebu City (the traffic was unreal travelling across the island). The staff was wonderful and so helpful with reccomendations for the isalnd (deffinitley go to the Sardine run and turtles) and they were very attentive to all our needs. The location, although a bit further from the tourist locations, is still great as it is near the main road through town, with lots to see and explore all the way to the pier. The tricycles are always there and ready to take you to where you want to be (just make sure that you are getting a good price) which makes the distance from the beach almost irrelevant. Overall it was a wonderful stay and if I return to Moalboal I will absolutley be...
