We booked a standard room with fan and arrived at around 13 pm daytime with bus from Cebu city. Got help from the really nice young man at the reception for moneychange for our trikedriver (we only had thousand pesos). We were quickly checked in and got a room at the second floor. Guest house is nice and decorated with some flowers upstairs. The next evening there was an informal note at the reception saying power will be out, which happened, so it got really hot in the nightine without fan. Also the hotel was without water in the shower and the sink the next day. This is not the hotels fault, it has to do with the infrastructure of moalboal which need electricity to deliver water, all the restaurant in the nearby had same problem. Some cook food with gas so they could serve hot food. I went to the reception about the water and the really nice young man there suggested he deliver two big buckets of water to our bathroom, they arrived after few minutes. I was thrilled how he solved the situation and can only be thankful for such a good service. They also delivered drinking water which I didn't had to pay until the day after. It was also quiet in the room, only a few passing motorbikes in the morning. Walk to the beach is about 500 meters and nice to wake up in the morning. If you want affordable accommodation in moalboal I think this is a good place to stay 👍😊

I don’t understand why people keep giving a 4 star to this awful place. Avoid this place, it’s the noisiest place I have slept in while travelling in east Asia. Some rooms are facing the road, and the small window in the room feels like an open air roof, and the roof itself it’s not soundproofing so you can hear everything, and anything, even when using hear buds you still hear everything. It’s awful. We booked a few nights and completely regret it, there was not one single night where we could have a decent sleep because of the motorbikes beeping, trucks, cars and loud neighbours playing music. It feels like you’re camping beside the road. If you are a light sleeper I recommend you book somewhere else. We asked to be change to a room not facing the road and they did not change us or give us a partial refund so we could have gone somewhere else. There was also a leaking under the bathroom sink which was making a pool of water around the toilet bowl making the room stinky as there is no ventilation. Room was never clean. Internet was bad and breakfast expensive Location not so bad. There are cables hanging in the room with no purpose and there is no place to hang your wet stuff. Someone also took my motorbike Helmet. As I said, avoid this place, pay a bit extra somewhere else where you can really enjoy your stay. We lived a nightmare here.

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, and the location is convenient—just a 10-minute walk to the local “beach.” We stayed in the Grey Room on the first floor. The room itself was okay, but unfortunately, due to continuous rain during our 5-day stay, it felt very damp. Opening the windows wasn’t an option because of mosquitoes and flies. A major downside was the lack of privacy. The room had three windows (including one in the bathroom), but all faced a pathway used by other guests. This meant we had to keep the curtains closed at all times—so there was no natural light, no view (just a fence and some plants), and no sun in the room. The shower head was quite small, with thin streams of water, making showers less comfortable than expected. On the plus side, the hotel offers complimentary room-temperature drinking water in the lobby, as well as hot water and glasses if you bring your own tea or coffee. You can also purchase cold water, beer, and sodas. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was quiet, which was a big plus. Overall, the experience was decent, but the lack of privacy and ventilation made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been. Also, the room was facing a road and had no noise cancellation. The lobby was cute though.

My recent stay at Hotel Sisters Inn in Moalboal, Cebu, left me with a positive impression overall. We opted for a room without air conditioning, as a fan was provided, which suited us well. However, for those who prefer air conditioning, the option is available for an extra charge.

The location of the hotel is a highlight, just a few minutes' walk to the main street where you can find a variety of restaurants and shops. Additionally, it's a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the beach, offering the incredible experience of swimming with hundreds of sardines. Although the walk to the main street in the dark may feel a bit intimidating due to the lack of lighting, my husband and I felt safe using our phone flashlights. The benefit, however, is the tranquility at night, away from the music and loud activities on the main street.

The room itself was simple yet pleasant and clean. The cleaning service on the third day was a nice touch. One suggestion for improvement would be to install hooks in the bathroom for towels, as there was no designated place to hang them.

For those looking to explore the area, the hotel offers scooter rentals for 400 pesos. While there are cheaper options in the vicinity (ranging from 350 pesos), the convenience of renting directly from the hotel was appealing, which we did.

The staff at Hotel Sisters Inn were notably friendly and accommodating, contributing to the overall positive experience. Despite a minor suggestion for improvement, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its comfortable accommodations, convenient location, and...
