We were there last night. It was a clean and well maintained restaurant.
The chopsuey was the best we ever tasted, I would give it 5 points. Butter garlic shrimp was good. The sauce was great but the quality of the shrimp was so so. Breaded squids was good. The bread part of squids was tasty and crispy which we liked a lot. However, the bread and squids were separated which I felt a bit ashamed. Sweet and sour pork was good. However, the bread part of the pork was soggy, not crispy, which makes it less tasty. The sauce was great, though.
Their services were good. However, sometimes, we felt a bit uncomfortable because they came to our table too often. I understand that they tried to do their best with kind services. But, sometimes, it can be too much.
When we were there, they have a live performance. 2 men were singing. It was great and it fitted the atmosphere of the restaurant. They weren't excellent singers but good enough.
We felt a bit hot there even though the outside wasn't very hot.
Overall, it was a good restaurant with a bit of improvements. I would like to give them 4.2...

Read moreAbsolutely a fantastic dinner experience! It’s been many years since we’ve had authentic Chinese scallion pancakes (called Green Onion Tortillas here). Delicious .... and only 100 peso! We also had excellent Japanese vegetable udon soup and corn dumpling soup. The dumpling soup tasted exactly like the soup dumplings we’ve had many times in Beijing. For dessert, 50 peso gets you three scoops of great ice cream. A fantastic meal and a nice change from Filipino, Italian and American cuisine. Service couldn’t have been better —- prompt and very friendly. We give Island Wok the highest...
