This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in EVER. I never normally do reviews but I feel that I must make others aware of this hotel. ||||We arrived here on the last leg of our honeymoon, upon arrival the hotel looks very dated and in dire need of a renovation. This is something I could normally overlook but this was just the start. ||||The room we were sold online looked clean and modern, this is where they get you in. Our room was filthy, the bed looked like it had been slept in and unmade. There were suspicious red splatters on the pillow, the bed sheets were covered in hairs and other various brown stains. The room itself was dirty, it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. There was a used cotton ear bud on the chair. The bathroom had limescale all over and no running water, but the floor was covered in water which was a leak, which was ironic considering the taps didn’t work. When we raised the issue they failed to fix the leak and gave me bed linen to change my own bed. ||||I then requested to pay for a new room which I was refused. ||||After 10 minutes I decided I would find a new hotel. Very easy to do, as I refused to sleep in a room which was filthy. ||||We decided that we would utilise the room for storage of our luggage and the hotel facilities such as access to the sea as our new hotel (east holiday resort) was next door and smaller and more of a posh cabin (but was clean and new). ||||On the last night we went to reception to pay any outstanding costs such as drinks and food charged back to the room. THIS IS WHERE IT REALLY STARTED TO GO WRONG. ||||(Just to be clear we had been going in and out of the room each day apart from this day as we went on an all day excursion.)||||The receptionist told us they needed our key for the room and safe to clear any funds which I found strange considering check out wasnt until the next morning, so my partner went to the room to start getting our belongings. Upon opening the door she was met by a lady who was screaming “GET OUR MY ROOM”. Long story short the hotel had removed all of our belongings and given it to a lady with children. Turns out that lady had been charged for our room and also the hotel had taken our money. When we then asked where our belongings were they couldn’t answer. They told us that they didn’t know where our belongings were and that they didn’t remove anything. Fast forward a few hours the manager miraculously found a black bag behind the reception which she had been stood next to this entire time. When we started looking through the bin bag we discovered a lot of items missing. ||I then demanded to see the cctv, as we was watching the cctv it showed the hotel staff going through the bag stealing our belongings. The manager very quickly closed the cctv and told us they couldn’t show us anything else as it didn’t work, LIES. ( what they really meant was, THEY ARE THIEVES AND GOT CAUGHT RED HANDED, RED TO MATCH THE DISGUSTING BLOOD STAINED PILLOWS) ||||They then tried to bribe us to be quite about the situation with 2200 pesos, approximately 30 British pounds, a total kick in the teeth. I would recommend anyone who wants a secure and clean hotel experience to stay away from this hotel. If you are after an experience that entails lies, blood stains, suspicious brown stains, a water feature on the bathroom floor and theft then crack on and use this hotel. ||||After all this we tried many times to ask for a resolution, the hotel still to this day...

Pescadores Seaview Suites is located at Basdiot, Moalboal. I must admit, it's not easy navigating through the resort. We got lost, even if we have been to Moalboal countless times already. With the use of waze, we finally arrived ar the resort 30-minutes after reaching the towm proper.
ACCOMMODATION:
I wasn't aware that Pescadores Seaview Suites has two buildings. One is on thr beachfront and the second one is just across. I was really hoping that we would be placed on the 2nd one, but we were told that those rooms were only good for 2. So we were placed on the newer and much bigger building.
ROOMS:
We booked the Executive Queen Deluxe. I was amazed on how spacious the room was, we even had a balcony (but the view was not that great haha).
ROOM INCLUSIONS:
In all of the hotels and resorts I have been on, Pescadores Seaview Suites has the biggest tv ever. It's even a smart tv, so we just watched youtube vidoes haha.
The room also has a mini ref, an electric kettle, a hair blower and 2 tables.
But they don't have a telephone for guests to call the front desk. They do, however, have a call button, which you can press to call them.
FACILITIES:
IN-HOUSE RESTUARANT: They have an in-house restaurant called "Island Wok". I actually expected a lot from it but the menu was underwhelming.
They have big servings, and the prices range from 50-300 Php.
SWIMMING POOL: They have two pools. Not too big but it's alright. It's not too small that guests would be crowded when they swim.
PLAYGROUND: They have a playground where children can play. So that's a plus for those travelling with kids.
STAFF:
I don't even know where to begin on this. But I'll start from our arrival down to when we checked out.
Even before we go to the resort, there was already someone asking if we are accommodated in Pescadores Seaview Suites, we said yes and he directed us to the parking lot. He even put something on our tires so that the car won't slip.
The people from the reception area were very friendly too, they welcomed us with big smiles. And they tried to make our room ready before 2pm (we wanted to check in eaely because it was so hot). While waiting for our room, we ate at the tables behind the pool (we are allowed to bring foods from outside, but we are not allowed to cook inside the premises).
Then when they told us our room was ready, they helped us carry our bags.
They also help us coordinate our Sardine Run and Pawikan viewing, which was very helpful, considering it was our first time doing the said activity.
Our overall experience is great and we will definitely come back again.
NOTE: -Guests must have a booking confirmation so that they will be eligible for a pass slip. -Guests can get the pass slip from the tourism office near the...
Read moreThis hotel offers a comfortable space if you take a seaview room (PHP 2300, about 39€). Due to availability we had to transfer to the back garden room and it was not good for what they charge, Php1800 (about 30€). No sunlight, outside bathroom, separate beds... Not good quality/prize.
Moreover, the customer service is by far improvable. They talk to you in a very polite way but they deeply don't take care of the clients properly. I will show you some examples why:
-PAYPAL PAYMENT GIVES YOU A HEADACHE: they offer payment through PayPal, and so did I. Even after showing them my confirmation of it, they kept asking me about the money every single time I passed by the counter, having to explain the situation once again. They even asked me to pay in cash again and give me a refund through PayPal (still don't understand why).
THEY WANT YOU TO RENT OLD AND UNSAFE SCOOTERS: We rented a motorbike there even though there were cheaper options along the street (php300). They charge 500 php/day. They had 5 motorbikes available and they insisted on lending us the oldest and shittiest one. Only after we insisted for a while that we wanted to take one of the others that was obviously newer and safer, they agreed. We left the deposit full, and when we wanted to rent it the day after they said it was not possible because we had to share it with the rest of the guests (when no one else was there asking for the 5 motorbikes they had right at the parking). Again, after insisting to take the one we had parked the night before with a full deposit, they agreed.
-THEY TELL YOU WHERE YOU CAN GO WITH THE MOTORBIKE. We usually rent a scooter when we arrive at a new place to freely discover its beaches, villages and surroundings. It was the first one in our entire life they told us the boundaries of where we could go, asking us not to go farther that Badian (more or less 30 minutes away).
THEY FORGOT TO RETURN OUR PHP1000 DEPOSIT. We are backpackers, and after a month of traveling around Philippines staying 2 or 3 days at the same place, we forgot that we had to ask for the refund of the PHP 1000 we had payed when checking in. They apparently forgot it too when we checked out. We were heading our next destination when they called us. It took us 3 days, 13 telephone calls and several text messages to get that money back. They could have easily made a bank transfer to my bank account but instead, I had to contact them endless times and loose part of my single one day in Cebú going to a Lbc payment shop to cash the money.
I want to say that the tenders during breakfast were very smiley and nice, and also the pool by the sea is a highlight of this place. But I don't know if worth it...
