Bohol Jewel — Hotel in Dauis

The facilities at Bohol Jewel are ok. The pool is nice but because it is so shallow the water gets quite warm. The worst part was the host of my apartment. She lives abroad but is in regular contact via messages. She threatened to kick us out early on when I requested missing items, such as a microwave, a kettle and access to a washing machine. These items were all included in her listing. I managed to have her back down from that. But later in our stay to tv had an electrical issue requiring it to be taken away for resetting or repairing. The host demanded I buy a new tv. I refused and she made an official demand through our booking site. She then continued to send menacing and threatening messages to me, even after I pleaded with her to stop. This was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. The host has bragged that she owns the entire resort, so I cannot recommend any apartment in this complex. I have made an official complaint about her to the accommodation site and this is still ongoing. I would never stay in Bohol Jewel again. Nice and quiet resort, far enough from the bustle of Alona beach but close enough to enjoy their restaurants and shopping. The staff at Bohol Jewel are really excellent, caring and attentive. Especially Joy looked after us extremely well. Very professional and service oriented. Our son wasn’t feeling well and they were able to arrange medical care in the middle of Easter holidays, which is the busiest religious holiday in the country and so only the ER in Tagbilaran was open. First of all I found this place through Airbnb. this pleace isn't hard to find its very near Panglao Bohol International Airport, just few minutes away. Its very serene. The fiber internet connection is strong. Its a plus for someone like me who's bringing my work wherever I go. Clean and they have pool exclusive for guests who just wanted to relax a bit. The coordinator in this place is easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Expect dark brgy street going to the location though but all in all i got a pleasant stay in this...
