Let's get one thing straight: it's an inn, period. It does not have a "touch of 5-star hotel" anywhere, as it says in the description. Don't expect anything grand, it really is for budget-conscious travellers. Stayed at a couple room. AC was cold but was located at the foot of the bed facing the opposite wall, so the cool air couldn't reach the bed even with the air swing on. Room smelled old, like it hasn't been used for some time. Had insect bites as soon as we entered the room, which I later found out was due to the open window. At night, you could hear faint music from outside even with windows closed. Cable TV was a joke - working channels were only like 5 out of 50. Bed was noisy and would squeak even with the slightest movement. Bathroom had no bidet or at least a "tabo." There wasn't any kind of divider between the shower and the toilet, so the floor would get soaked.||||The only good things about this inn: ||1. Free breakfast consisting of toast, butter, jam, homemade yogurt, and coffee||2. Location - there was Mercury Drug and Watsons along the street, and walking distance to Museo Dabawenyo, San Pedro cathedral, city hall, some parks, and a handful...

A few steps to the busy san pedro street are jeeps and taxis, stores such as mercury drug, watsons, jollibee, dunkin donuts, grocery. It’s such a convenient place for a tourist.
The rooms were simple; don’t expect a 5-star interior. It offers the essentials like hot shower, ref, table, tv, rack for your clothes, the basic ones.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. :)
Their complimentary breakfast is comprised of toasted bread, jams, fruits, instant coffee, and amazing-cool-homemade yogurt! (You have been informed, don’t expect “silog meals”)
We tried their sisig and bulalo for lunch, and we enjoyed it very well! the aligue rice was also great!
I will recommend Bahay ni Tuding to my...
