Hotel Midori Davao — Hotel in Davao City

Bagobo House is located in the middle of everything in Davao. There are eateries all around including one of my favorite - Dencia's restaurant. There is a Gaisano supermarket and department store just around the corner. NIghtlife places also abound including the more upscale bar at Apo view Hotel.||||The size of the rooms are OK and they are clean, the features are a little bit above basic. Bed is quite firm, TV size just right with a lot of cable channels to choose from. Bathroom is quite big, none of that cramped feeling one gets from similar priced hotels. They don't serve breakfast and there is no brewed coffee either. However, a lot of breakfast places (including Jollibee and McDo) abound. ||||I always stay here since I don't really need the expensive looking lobbies and swanky rooms. One gets more than his money's worth. Oh, and there's no elevator so try getting the lower...

I booked the capsule because it is cheapest hotel among the choices in Agoda in Davao City (inside the City Center). The prices in Agoda are way cheaper (rate is PHP 400+) than paying directly (rate is PHP 550). I have few points though:

a. Social media staff are responsive. Upon booking in Agoda, I verified if my booking is parallel with them. Upon arriving, they just asked for my ID and handed me the key card to the room and keys to the cabinet.

d. The hotel's staff are nice and accommodating. A huge plus, really! They can be asked questions on how to get around the city!

e. The hotel's WiFi is fast outside the capsule. It is fair inside the capsule. But overall, I can stream videos on YouTube and access Facebook and Messenger while I'm lying on the bed.
