If I can give lower than one star I would …… The five-star service I was hoping for turned into the most horrible experience I ever had in a hotel. I requested to move to the junior suite from a standard unit for the same price of 35,000 pesos since I only have to stay less than a month - to be exact, 20 days. I told the manager that if it is not possible then I will move to an 18,000 pesos/month furnished condominium unit just next block …. I also checked another place nearby with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen for only 45,000 pesos/month. Since the manager agreed I decided to stay and did not bother to check Expedia rate. I always pay in advance but two days after I moved in, the manager asked me to pay more …. He said, I have to pay 60,000 pesos or if I can lend him the money by paying the balance of 25,000 pesos then he will pay me back. I said no, I am a customer! When I was checking out, another man knocked on my door and forcing me to sign a document so they can charge my credit card …. I was shocked. You go to Expedia and you will get a lower daily rate but I was a long-staying guest! I HIGHLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL AND GO TO AN INTERNATIONAL CHAIN OF HOTELS INSTEAD. After I left Davao, I stayed in the heart of Makati, the Sphere Serviced Residences, a much bigger and more beautiful suite with great amenities for the same price per night. I lost my Chanel agenda/passport holder, my ring, and even MacBook charger but they refused to talk to me ….. my email was ignored. I never thought I will end up writing a bad review coz I always wanted to...

This hotel has many issues and I guess I got many of them on my 2 night visit ||Pros - bed and bedding comfortable |Pros - air conditioning was good ||Cons - No Hot water for 2|Days so have cold showers. Unacceptable!||Cons -|Half the shower head worked the other one|Not work ||Cons -|TV remote difficult and had to call maintenance to fix and re set||Cons - WiFi weak at best with slow download ||Cons - Restaurant was way over priced as an example 2 cups of cold rice , a piece of chicken and an egg with one coffee and one orange juice 700’pesos. The|Rice amd egg cold. Further Resturant and hotel not take credit card for restaurant charges. They need to inform guests of those scenarios on check in. ||Cons - had to ask for a safe for the room and they installed but it was old and batteries fell out because were being held by some tape. Consequently couldn’t open the safe after locked because the batteries fell out of holder. Frustrating at best ||Cons- road noise most of the night and day as right across the street from SM Ecoland and all the jeepneys and tricycle s were|Loading people. ||So my thoughts good luck 🍀 if you decide to...

The room has contemporary design and clean, but for those guests who prefer watching cable news or even movies such us cnn and HBO, then they have limited channel subscriptions. I took notice the good quality of toothbrushes they used, it was good with bristles not still intact even when you brished hardly. Also, The internet connection was fast

I stayed at room 406 and during heavy rain, water came in to the room, flooding the floor near the window.

The hotel restricts guest of using the complimentary breakfast for guest who are not "checked in" despite that the rate includes 2 complimentary breakfast.

On food, the ala carte menu was generally reasonable but the variety of rice used was bad. More so, they had limited selection of breakfast buffet, in consideration with the hotel rate, and your preference to take things slow in having your breakfast with panoply of choices, then it would be much better to choose other hotels.

The front desk were accommodating and fast and they duly took note of your request, such as accepting parcel delivery even when you were not...

Review for Home Crest Hotel I recently stayed at Home Crest Hotel for one night and, unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The rooms are not well-maintained; they were dirty and dusty, with visible stains, making the space feel old and uninviting. The smell of the room also had an unpleasant, aged quality. When I requested slippers, they were provided, but they were dirty, and the laundry bags seemed to have been reused multiple times. The hot water in the shower wasn’t functioning properly, as it never got hot enough to be comfortable. On a positive note, the hotel’s service was good, and the location is excellent. It’s conveniently situated right across from SM City Davao, and S&R is also nearby, making it very accessible. Overall, while the location and service are commendable, the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel need significant improvement.

I stayed early July 2023 with my family for one night in the Diamond suite. To give the rundown, the shower railing was loose, the rainfall shower doesn’t even work as intended, someone left their underwear in the closet, there are cracks in the walls, the executive lounge is a mess, the bathtub drain has rust, there’s no hot water, and the water pressure is unreliable. The big main perk is that it’s right across from SM Mall so it is very convenient and the air-conditioning works as intended. With the word, diamond in the title, I would expect it to pass the bare minimum, and yet I was disappointed with what the hotel room delivered. Hopefully this review gives the hotel more feedback on what they could improve on.

Pros: - Very near to the mall - just across the street and accessible to public transportation Neat room as it can get Margherita pizza is nice see the picture Ample electrical outlets Cons: - room is too small - work table is small - cable channels are limited (no HBO) - breakfast is so-so, definitely need to teach the crew to clean up well and management i would recommend fumigation (dining area has small kitchen roaches and room if you leave your food will easily be swarmed by ants) - since its close to public transportation, resting at night is a struggle due to noise coming from the main road
