OYO 530 Yellow Pad — Hotel in Davao City

Booked an overnight stay thru Agoda. It was a last minute booking so I wasn't really expecting so much when we arrived. We just need a place to settle ourselves as we have work to do then. But to my surprise the place actually exceded our expectations 👏.

Let's start with the room. The room space is decent, you got enough space for all to your stuff and the room itself is very clean. You also have your own kitchen sink inside. The only problem I have there is the bathroom. It's a bit small and the water heater wasn't working. Ohh and Dental Kits are not for free but it's fine coz we have ours.

Perfect for the services, no issues with checking in and out. They also have a mini store inside the building in case you need some basic stuff and unlike other hotels, they don't overcharge. The best part here is their RELIABLE, FAST INTERNET. Yes! Finally, we didn't need to use our own wifi. We even played computer games with no issues.

My transaction was in sm ecoland, which is just cross the street, so it's very convenient. The rooms are clean and relaxing, enough space for you to pray and dine. The bed isn't as comfy, but it's ok because it is a matrimonial bed. The bathroom has a hot and cold shower. The AC is weak, so they added the fan to make the room cooler. Overall, my experience was great highly recommended. One thing i love about this place is that it's located in a peaceful and quiet place. A bit far from the busy/noisy streets of davao city.

The only cons check-in time is 2am and check out 12nn. I hope they'd adjust the time that what time u checked in that's the time the...

Our 2-day stay was great. The place is very spacious. Very cheap. 799 pesos only, queen-size bed. Although the problem we had was the room was not that cold, maybe because the aircon was too small for the entire room, but it was manageable. There was a wall fan as well. My suggestion is to make the curtain a black-out one so the warmth of outside wont get inside the room during the day.

The shower has hot and cold 🥰

The place is very accessible to sm davao ecoland. It is also nearby to different restaurants.

Overall, we had a great stay. We will definitely book again ...
