Hotel Elena | Lanang | Adgao City — Hotel in Davao City

I stayed here for three nights on 2 separate occasions. On my first night, they billeted me in a quaint room with cable TV, a fridge and spacious toilet. It was a nice stay for a modest price. Breakfast the morning after was also sumptuous; they served mostly Filipino cuisine. Three days after, after my trip to another city, my host checked me in again. This time, it was in a different room, located near their restaurant which is good for people who would always experience hunger pangs. The room, though modest, did not have a cable TV. One can also hear sounds of motor vehicles passing by, though not frequent because the hotel is situated in a corner a block away from the main highway. When I told the front desk of my predicament, she apologized and explained to me that they still have to install cable TV in area where they billeted me. I general, the place satisfied my needs. Its near to different amenities like fast food chains, fancy restaurants, convenience store, banks and malls. It is also quite far from the crowded area of the city. High end villages are located in the area and the hotel is also near the beach which you can reach by walking but I suggest you take a ride to save time. Three stars out of 5...

I choose this hotel as its near to my cousins house and the party venue. I checked in past 330pm, the front desk clerks are sarcastically talented. The room is the higlight!!! They gave me a room that was newly vacated, hurriedly clean. The toilet floor was wet and the smell was so bad that it seems somebody just had their nature call in it. Hairs were everywhere and the towels are dirty white color.. Old towels.. I called up the FD as it was really disgusting.. It took them 30mins of passing the blame and they told me since im just an overnight stay this is the room.. That was it! I told them your reasons are lame and im a paying customer! They transfered me to the room infront of the disgusting room, same state.. Old dready.. Same issue of hairs in the toilet walls and floor .. I requested for a bit white towels and shampoo.. |I wouldnt come back nor recomend...

I booked on line for 2 full beds which I had a queen bed on the first day. I was moved to a bigger room the following day with 2 full beds. The bathroom looked like it was not cleaned for months as I can see cobwebs when I was taking a shower. The shower hose needs cleaning of water stains and grimes. The hotel location is very good for my needs. I think, hotel management needs to train its housekeeping staff. The rest of the staff are friendly and helpful.
