Pidoks Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience that truly showcases the best of local cuisine. Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and rustic charm, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
Atmosphere: As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by warm lighting and inviting decor. The seating is comfortable, with a mix of tables and booths that create an intimate vibe. The soft background music adds to the overall relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to enjoy conversation.
Service: The staff at Pidoks are attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, which enhanced our dining experience. The service was prompt, and we never felt rushed.
Food: The menu features a variety of dishes that highlight fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We started with the appetizers hilaw na mangga and salad na langka. For the main course, my sister opted for the grilled Tuna belly, some barbeque, lumpiang shanghai, tinolang Bariles, Pancit Bam-e . My family was satisfied, the food were served in a timely manner. It was my first time eating Bamboo rice, and of course the presentation was amazingly and delectably audible!
Amenities:
Parking is plenty. Comfort/bathrooms are situated outside, just thru the back door. There is also a Handwash area.
Value: Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. While itâs not the cheapest option in town, the experience justifies the cost.
Overall: Pidoks Restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food in a welcoming setting. Whether youâre a local or just visiting, itâs definitely...
Read morePidoks Restaurant is a first class establishment exclusively featuring local Philippines cuisine. It has one of the largest choice of such dishes that I have seen anywhere in Davao City.
I ate there recently and the food I ordered was of excellent quality, well presented visually, and quickly served. While the theme here is unashamedly Filipino food, I would thoroughly recommend the place to foreigners and tourists who want to sample well prepared local food in comfortable surroundings, they will not be disappointed.
The restaurant itself is in an upmarket part of Davao City and clearly caters for a middle class local clientele, this is reflected in the pricing but this is not excessive for the level of cuisine and service provided in this establishment. If you frequent Pidoks from time to times you could be rubbing shoulders with prominent local politicians and personalities who drop in from time to time.
Being recently refurbished the decor is excellent as are the tables and furnishings, there is aircon, WIFI, a function room, they also provide a take out service and catering. The wash room is spick and span and there are security guards in attendance.
The downsides : Well how can you have a review without listing downsides? That would not be a true review, but in the case of Pidoks Restaurant I really had to think long and hard. But all in all this is a very fine...
