Patok sa Manok Restaurant - Lanang — Restaurant in Davao City

There are a number of Patok sa Manok outlets in Davao City and this is one of the bigger ones. As the name suggests { Hot chicken ? } it really excels at chicken, but it does not end there as there are a number of other dishes available. The food here is at very reasonable prices and this place is very popular with the local people.

The food preparation area has a clean and hygienic appearance. You can buy over the counter, they deliver { See photos } and there is a pleasant restaurant section which also serves as a function room.

The downside? : Well this restaurant is located very close to the road so if you are approaching the take out counter be sure and watch your back as this is a busy area and sometimes jeepneys and motor bikes can cut in and...

We ordered the Following

Lechon Manok - Priced at Just P260, very cheap and delicious. The Lechon Sauce was the perfect partner, also tastes good with Vinegar plus Soy Sauce.

Pusit - Very Tender and Very Tasty

Everything was okay until we got our Bill, the pusit was Priced at P750!! More expensive than Grilled Squid at Dusit Thani Lubi. We asked the Cashier, she said it was really 750. If we got 2 it would have been 1500!!

If going here just order their Lechon...

Patok sa Manok Lanang has actually a huge dining place, they even have a place for special event. Although famous fro grilled Chicken and Liempo, several short order menus. Their food are delicious especially their liempo and chicken, as well as their Pancit Guisado which we have at a group mealat a very affordable price. The only not so nice we can have is that they let us wait for 30 minutes for our food...
