I actually visited this place 2 times. 1st time we had outdoor seating - tables were not ready or cleaned, super filthy although we had reservations outside for the day. It was my birthday and we had the appointment in advance - we also messaged the day of to remind them. We went back regardless because I like to give chances and I'm quite understanding. We went there for a 2nd time on Christmas Eve - table was clean thankfully. We asked the waiter to give us a couple of minutes while we looked a the menu to choose the items, however, the waiter completely forgot about us and didn't even come outside for a good 20 minutes. Luckily, one of the staff members walked to the back and noticed us waiting and asked us if we are waiting for the food, we notified him that we haven't even ordered. Then our waiter came - didn't even apologize. I asked him to make a mango shake without ice, he was super confused. Most places in the Philippines have made me a mango shake with no ice - he said this was not possible... we ordered the Ribeye which was 5k. The steak was the worst steak I've eaten in my life - it looked nothing like the other people posted here. There was no sear - it tasted like it was boiled on the outside and medium rare in the inside. My guess is that it has been defrosted several times and slowly boiled to reach the right temperature - there was no seasoning, no flavor and super chewy and bland. I can cook a better steak in my kitchen... there needs to be some seasoning, or a flavored butter, or basted in garlic and spices... It was also lukewarm, not even hot. literally blandest steak - memorable for the worst steak I've tasted. It's not even worth 10gbp. The shrimp chorizo was delicious - way better than the steak. However, the waitress took our plate although we haven't even finished and there was still food and sauce on the plate. The customer service here is subpar especially for the price. If you are used to any Western standard this is far from that..... super disappointing! Re-train the...

Thank you for the hospitality my wife and I received at your restaurant . Operations Manager, Edwin Amper, represented the staff, chef, and the establishment in a grandiose and professional manner. Personally, I was impressed with the personal attention I received from the staff. I was not expecting to see Makers Mark on the menu, which being from the south in the United States, pulls a lot of weight in and of itself, so I ordered a double. My wife ordered the Truffle and Prawn pasta and I had the Chicken Parm. Both were quite fantastic. Edwin especially endorsed the Chicken Parm. It was a lot more than the appetite I brought with me. Still I devoured the majority of it. To top it off, we were complimented with two scoops of vanilla ice cream to clean our palates. I didn't know vanilla could taste so good even without toppings. The establishment, itself, was unique in comparison to the other neighborhood businesses. The architectural structure of the restaurant reminded me of dining in my aunt's house in Council Grove, Ks. Loved the wooden staircase and moldings and doorframes. All in All, I give this establish a heart felt thank you for a fine...

I’ve been a loyal customer of Bondi&Bourke for quite some time, and I’ve always loved their steak. My friends and I often book the largest table since we usually come in a big group. However, during my most recent visit, I was disappointed with the attitude of both the waitress and the manager. I felt rushed to finish our meals, even though there was still food left on our plates. For a relatively expensive restaurant, I expect a more relaxed dining experience, especially since I don’t appreciate wasting food or feeling pressured to hurry.

Additionally, we asked the waitress to take a few group photos of us, and while she initially agreed, she seemed to lose patience later on. As we were leaving, we wanted to recreate an old photo of our group at the restaurant’s entrance, but she appeared uninterested and didn’t respond to us appropriately. It was a letdown, especially considering the level of service I’ve come to expect from a place like this. For the price, I hoped for a more accommodating and...

Update 2 weeks later: Now we had (with the help of some friends) a big part of their menu: Everything is great, the Bondi & Bourke is one of the top Restaurants of Davao. One thing to improve: They have only one single open wine for a "per glas" serving, a Muscat. This detail should urgently to be repaired. Still some of the best Restaurants in Davao. We visit before in 2017, and it was very very good. Someone told us they lower down, so we ignore it for a long time... big mistake! The Bondi & Bourke is still very very good, very friendly staff, a great menu so everyone can find something tasty, and... very good food! We chose some different types of Chicken... Chicken Shawarma, Chicken on a stick and more... look at the pictures. The Food was as good as the pictures! Not cheap, but really good place to stay. We will be back very soon.
