This hotel is an absolute car crash but here are the pros to begin with.||||Pros: It’s perfectly positioned between El Nido town centre and Las Cabanas/Vanilla Beach meaning you are in the centre of all the best beaches / amenities without being nestled amongst the business of El Nido town centre. The pool and beach view is also delightful.||||Cons: The level of service is appalling. Eventually we managed to laugh it off but it was actually mind blowing how you would ask for things and they never get actioned. E.g they advertise boat tours at the desk however when we came back to check if it had been organised for us the girl at reception simply showed us it had been written in the book however it hadn’t been actioned or confirmed at all. Luckily we learned early on day 1 never to rely on the staff to implement anything however we’d have been heartbroken if we were only staying for 3 days and realised we had missed out on a boat tour due to the negligence of the hotel staff.||||WiFi…..what WiFi. Luckily we have chosen to embrace the break from social media however for a hotel at this price point working WiFi is a non negotiable…||||Showers, I hope you like them cold because the hot water rarely works, only at evening time after a day of sun due to hot water running off solar power. We’re all for renewable energy but again a hotel at this price point should have working hot water.||||Breakfast is disgusting. We chose to skip breakfast after the first day and have been getting breakfast elsewhere since. The selection is awful, everything is cold and the sausages quite frankly didn’t look fit for the stray dogs.||||Oh and one more gripe (I genuinely don’t leave reviews like this often) the staff can be really inattentive, they’re always nattering with each other whilst you’re patiently waiting at the desk and they never go out their way to give you information about the island, help to book excursions. Most people in hospitality in El Nido are lovely and to be fair the cleaning staff at the hotel are lovely but the receptionist team are really below par.||||To summarise, if you don’t mind having a break from the internet and you don’t mind a cold shower first thing and you’re happy to treat this hotel very much as a room and a base then great! However at this price you’re best off going elsewhere, I sincerely hope this hotel cleans...

Read more3 stars?! No kidding!! We had booked this hotel for 2 nights, deceived by its location in front of the beach and with the expectation that it would be a simple but decent accommodation. We found ourselves in a dilapidated building, with a small room, poorly cleaned and on the edge of the road. But apart from this, the worst aspect was that at the check in (after having paid for the entire stay, since they requested the advance payment) we were informed by the reception that there was no hot water, since the hotel is powered by solar energy and in those days there had been few hours of sun. For us, hot water was a fundamental and essential requirement, otherwise we would have booked directly a 1-star hotel and saved money. From a 3-star hotel I do not expect luxury but at least a decent and essential situation. For this reason, we asked to stay only one night and asked for the refund for the second night, since we had not paid to take a cold shower and, in any case, we had not even been notified beforehand about this poor service. The reception told us to request the refund directly through booking. We did so immediately by explaining the whole situation, but weeks later the hotel very unfairly did not grant it to us, claiming that there was hot water in those days, which was absolutely not true, because this poor service had been communicated to us at the check in by the lady at the reception and, in any case, we had tried (in vain) to keep the taps open for almost an hour. To the misconduct and rudeness described above, I add the lack of professionalism of the staff, since the hotel is dirty and at the time of check in (it was almost dinner time), the reception could not find our room key. Also worthy of note is the breakfast room, pervaded by an unpleasant smell that makes you lose your appetite and by a sparse and truly uninviting buffet. For us, this hotel has been a nightmare. A word of advice, don’t be fooled by the location in front of the beach, but...
