After my tour agent booked another hotel in the area, I did a TripAdvisor search and discovered that the hotel had very bad reviews. Lesson learned! Now what? Book another hotel BUT review it first on TripAdvisor. THANKFULLY I discovered Neela Toursit Lodge AND they had a vacancy! Reviews were very good ... so I booked a four night stay. Upon arrival as I exited the “trike”, a lady met me with a smile and a “Hello! You must be Robert!” Ok I thought... things are looking up here! I have never been met with such a genuine greeting! ||||What about the room? CLEAN, economical, spacious enough for two, comfortable bed, Hot shower(!), GREAT service! What else could a traveler ask for? (There is a lack of a place to keep your open luggage off of the floor as well as a “line hanger” in the shower stall to dry swimsuits and dive wear. I suggested this small addition to the owner.) ||||Would I return? MOST DEFINITELY! THANK YOU MAVIC B., LILIAN T., and JHONA P. for treating me like FAMILY! I MISS you guys! See...

To start it seemed okay the rooms looked tidy and clean but soon realised we had a mattress covered in black mould which was no good at all. I also sent some washing in for laundry and they used bleach on a pink/purple shirt causing bad stains and they somehow managed to take the lettering of the front of the shirt. When I complained to the manager she refused to help me in anyway just said it they didn't mean, we continued to talk then all of a sudden she answered a phone call mid conversation then never looked up at me again after she put the phone down, and never said another word just started to ignore me so she didn't have to sort the issue. Ruined a £55 shirt and didn't offer to help me in anyway. Manager was very rude and actually laughed at things being said by others while I was trying to sort an issue out. If you want good service and not mouldy mattresses I...
