Maria Tavern Island — Hotel in General Luna

Priced at 2500 pesos per night with aircon on paper it looks like a resonable deal. The location in general luna is within walkining distance from the harbour where there is restaurants and stores,, however its not walking distance from the beach and a rented motorbike is adviced since there is no tricykles passing by very often. ||During high season it is hard to find accomodation in gen luna but before you get tempted with this one please BE AWARE that the rooms has a faul smell of mold and suage, especially the bathrooms are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! the rooms would be acceptable if your not fussy about standard, but please be adviced that this is NOT ok if you have a problem with allergy or astma etcetera.||Also there is no staff working at any hours whatsoever so you can forget ordering or...

Nice and clean, simple doublerooms. TV and AC. Private bathroom and hot shower.|Located in an alley in a calmer area so no traffic etc at night. 2500 pesos per night, a little overpriced but tourism is on a rise so I guess accomodations are getting more expensive. ||They do not have a reception. Staff is friendly and you are able to buy cold beer etc. There’s a dining area where you can hangout.||It’s in walking distance to the general luna mainstreet but I’d advice you to rent a scooter, especially if it’s raining due to the roads can get really messy with mud and rainpools. Booked a room with two beds online, and received confirmation of the booking. When we arrived, we were told the room wasn't available, but we could have the dormitory, as it had no bookings.We decided to extend our stay for an extra day, and reception confirmed that we could have the room for the next day.
