I had a really disappointing experience at this place. I ordered a proper breakfast and coffee, expecting a nice, leisurely start to my day, but what I got was a rushed and uncomfortable atmosphere. The food was bland and lacking seasoning, making it a far cry from a satisfying meal. The coffee was even worse—it was diluted and barely resembled a freshly made cup of coffee; I could hardly taste any of the rich flavors you’d expect.
To make matters worse, the place was overcrowded, and it felt like I was just a place-holder for other customers. The staff were literally pointing at my table to the patrons waiting outside, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I saw the customer looking over at the waitress, and the whole thing felt rushed and inconsiderate. When it came time for the bill, it was handed to me in such an impersonal way—no eye contact, no pause, just a quick, one-handed handoff while the staff continued walking as if they were handing out flyers.
Overall, the lack of hospitality, the poor food and coffee, and the rushed environment left a bad taste. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant...
Read moreTheir french toast was soft, buttery and creamy! Would definitely recommend this here. Breakfast plates for the waffles/french toast with egg and meat was a generous serving for 1 person. Excellent price point too at apprx Php 200 per dish.
I personally found the spanish latte to be too sweet for my liking. I'm biased though cos I really do not add sugar to my coffee. If you're like me, get their flat white instead. The creamy cloud 9 was enjoyable too. It was really creamy haha
Please take note they close at 3pm AND last call for food is at 2pm! On our first visit we were really hungry so it was so disappointing to be told they can just serve drinks since it was near 2pm already.
Also, less people during weekdays after lunch time. Better chances of getting tables during that time!
TLDR: solid french toasts, their last call for...

From their hot, ice blended coffee and combine it with their breakfast meals. I'd say you are in for a great treat. I don't want to be bias but definitely you can't just leave the island without dropping by for a coffee, breakfast or pretty much both.
I fell inlove with their iced and blended coffee plus the french toast! Ugh! I think it's the best toast we ever had. If you ever want to be on the go and catch your boat for an island hopping, grab one of their Creamy Cloud 9 concoction to give you that energy boost.
White Beard Coffee will definitely be our go to next time we visit Siargao Island. 💯
