Good place for breakfast/lunch! Nice vibe and great food/drinks. Iced Hazelnut coffee and Cappuccino were delicious and generous in size. We also had the bacon w/ scrambled eggs & wheat bread and the tropical smoothie bowl - both very tasty and filling. Great prices for what you get. We've tried the other common breakfast places on the main road and this one was the best so far! Service was also nice, drinks and food were served quick. Strong free wifi. We will come back and try the lunch/dinner options🤗
Edit: Went back for dinner the same day. Had the mozzarella fingers, which were delicious. Unfortunately our mains (Lasagna and Lemon Garlic Shrimp) were disappointing. The Lasagna was still cold (they reheated it when we pointed it out) and was not very tasty. The Lemon Garlic Shrimp had wayyy too much chili 🥵 and was more a tomato garlic shrimp. First and foremost, the food was excellent. I ordered one of their signature dishes, a quinoa bowl with vegetables, avocado, and a delicious cashew cream on top. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted amazing. It was clear that the ingredients were of high quality and carefully selected.
But it wasn't just the food that impressed me. The atmosphere at Green Wave Cafe was also something special. The place was cozy and relaxed, with a rustic charm that made it a pleasant experience to be there. The staff were friendly and accommodating, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Read moreHidden away but definitely worth finding Green Waves Cafe is a cozy, locally owned spot by a Siargao-born-and-raised local. 🤙🏾🇵🇭🌴 In the beginning, we knew them just for their yummy muffins, but over time, we discovered that they offer so much more. There’s something to eat for every meal and snack - comforting food in the morning, hearty lunches, and even cocktails to wind down at night.
Their coffee is actually really good and the drinks never disappoint. I could have the frozen calamansi everyday!! 🍋💚 The staff is very accommodating, making every visit feel welcoming. It’s a place with a special local surfer kind of charm!! Oli’s parents used to come and eat here all the time when they were visiting. We are also definitely gonna come back more often, especially since we believe in supporting fellow Filipinos and Siargaonons!! ❤️🤎🤙🏾
Let’s continue to support local Filipino and Siargao...
