Mactan Pension House — Hotel in Lapu-Lapu

We needed a room before an early flight. We had booked another hotel but after getting a taxi from Cebu ferry port the driver claimed not to know it. We were hot, tired and hungry as asked him to take us to a local hotel near the airport! ||||He dropped is here.||The front desk staff was very unhelpful and made no attempt to make us feel welcome. Spent two nights here as we were waiting on a flight out of Cebu. ||Would not recommend. The room was straight up nasty! Filthy dirty with dust and grime. The furniture in the room was old and decrepit. The whole room and bathroom should have been gutted and refurbished at least 10 years ago! ||Didn't want to take a shower as the thought of touching anything was gross.|We also woke up to ants on the bed each morning.||The only reason it gets an average rating is because the WiFi in the room was fairly strong and it was convieniently close to the airport. J'ai été dans cet hotel car on me l'a conseillée et en voici la raison. La personne qui me l'a conseillée était dans un hotel juste à coté le jour du tremblement de terre il y a 2 ans je crois. Elle a eu la peur de sa vie, l'hotel étant totalement lézardé ensuite. A chaque réplique, elle croyait que l'hotel allait s'effondrer.||Le Mactan, juste à coté n'avait pratiquement aucun stygmate. Du coup, elle y va à chaque fois qu'elle doit passer la nuit à Cebu pour se rendre à Camiguin au petit matin.||J'ai donc fait de même, ayant booké via Agoda.||Nous étions 3 et avions donc une chambre avec 2 lits.||Arrivés, accueil très moyen, je donne mon nom et dis que j'ai booké sur Agoda. La nana à l'accueil n'avait trace de ma réservation et il a fallu que je sorte le mail.||Bon, passons... L'hotel est vétuste, comme les chambres. Ca fait vraiment hotel de passes. La clim est assez bruyante, mais pas assez pour couvrir le bruit de la circulation. Bref, ambiance glauque.||Comme des c... nous avons mangé au resto, enfin resto, plutôt bar pour viel occidental pervers ou on sert aléatoirement quelques plats.J'ai "adoré" la blague : nous servons de tout sauf des filles, ramenez la votre ... Le mec nous met en terrasse, nous sort la table (on était seul), la grande classe. On avait vue sur la baie, seul point positif. la bouffe était très moyenne, mais pas dégueu.||||Là ou je ne suis pas du tout content, c'est que nous avions un vol très très tôt pour Camiguin. J'avais donc demandé au staff de nous réveiller à 4h du mat. Heureusement que j'avais mis le réveil sinon on attendrait encore. Bref, même pour ça, ils se sont plantés. Du coup le mec attend encore son pourboire quand il a mis les valises...
