Unhygienic and Unprofessional – Unresponsive to Refund Request

We had a very disappointing and stressful experience at Gabz’K Travellers Inn. When we arrived, we found black mold on the walls of our room, which made the place unhealthy and unsafe to stay in. After only a short time, we started feeling itchy and developed allergic reactions because of the mold.

We were forced to leave the premises late at night and look for alternative accommodation, which caused major inconvenience and disrupted our trip.

To make matters worse, the receptionist was very rude and unaccommodating. When we politely asked for a blanket or duvet, since none were provided in the room, they simply ignored us and acted as if we weren’t there.

We filed a refund request through Trip.com with attached photos of the mold, but the establishment has not responded. We have even tagged local authorities to report the issue, as this is a clear health and sanitation concern.

I strongly do not recommend staying here until management addresses these problems seriously and ensures their rooms are safe, clean, and that staff treat guests with basic courtesy...

Located within a residential village thus not a good option if you are commuting without your own car. But if you are driving, they have a parking lot that can accommodate 3-4 vehicles at most.

It is a residential house converted into an inn. Ceiling is a bit low, and rooms and bathroom is a bit cramped. Ground floor rooms are not well ventilated (you can't open the window to let air in), Thus room can smell mouldy especially for those with rhinitis and asthma.

Water pressure is good but I don't know why water remains greyish. Not sure if its an issue with the main line that there are a lot of debris particles in the water, thus don't brush your teeth with tap water. Bathroom pipes drip all the time.

I do have to say that we were checking in close to midnight and the reception accommodated us despite that (all other hotels with parking options were full). Service was friendly and accommodating to say the least. Also the TV has Netflix and Youtube.

Pets allowed! They allow pets as long as they are responsible (owner and cat, of course). We brought 2 cats with us. We stayed only for the night but everything was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was secured (tho not sure of if all cars would fit inside the courtyard if everybody who checked in brought their own cars). There was also a mini-pantry and I think a refrigerator where you can buy snacks.

We stayed here to and from our main destination.

To: We got the family room for 4 with a private cr. I took a star off because the toilet in our room was a basic toilet with no toilet seat and flush. Haha It was hard to do business there. My legs died. Lol

Fro: We got the bunk room for 4 with no private cr. The cr was the shared one across the hallway. That cr was better than the private one since it had a toilet seat.

If I ever get to return to Sorsogon, I'd definitely choose this...
