Rooms had basic Amenities that you require for beach side accommodation. Clean and comfortable. Toothbrushes and a broom provided as well. Location less than. A minute walk to the beach. Huts by the beach to use for free and bbq area if you are a guest. That's where the good part ends.||||FirstThe receptionist ruined our stay. Constantly scheming to get money out of us without any justification. Shady and not straightforward in her dealings.||Firstly we arrived on a Saturday and were a family of 6 with 2 rooms and asked if we could use the beach huts. She told us it would be 1000 for the day and 1500 for overnight. So we decided against it. The next day we found out its free for guests.||Secondly we booked the first night with Agoda (a deluxe room) and the next 2 nights with Booking.com (Standard room). After the first night she told us its OK to stay in the same deluxe room and she will adjust it. We said we were willing to move to a standard room as that's what we paid for, but she said its OK. There was no mention of cost or payment which is why we thought she was offering a free upgrade. We thanked her and went on with our stay. On the last night, she tells my wife that we have to pay extra for the room (still she didn't mention any amount when asked). Then I went to check with her and she said my wife asked for the deluxe room and now we needed to pay the difference. This was not true as she was trying to pit us against each other rather than talk to us together. She then worked out that we have to pay 1800 pesos more for the room. When we pressed her on the issue and asked her to call the manager, she started lying to him as well. Eventually I spoke to him and explained everything. He understood that it was unreasonable to ask a gust to pay at the end of the stay when there was nothing agreed upon. Eventually when we checked out the following morning, she did not speak to us. I just feel it is extremely unprofessional to extort money from people in this manner. This wasn't a misunderstanding, it was calculated which...
Read moreI treated my employees to an outing prior to the holy week and they wanted a beach resort. Since I agreed that they can bring their respective families, budget was on top of my consideration. First, it must be near Manila...so Zambales was a good option since their beaches were still ok. I wanted to go to Anawangin so we decided that the resort must be a jump off point to Anawangin Cove. With the help of the internet, I was able to find this resort . Since we are staying overnight, I booked 3 rooms good for 8 pax each room, all of them are located beach front. This is a no frills resort. Very basic with aircondition, cable tv and...(yes!!) they have hot water. For 24 persons, I only paid P8,000 roughly USD 190 for an overnight accommodation. That was a very good bargain. Second, is that the resort allows cooking so we brought our own food. The beach is ok although be careful since it easily goes deep. Verdict...two thumbs up for being a budget friendly resort. My staff enjoyed it so much. Thank you...
Read moreWe have went here a few times.||But now it fallen into disrepair.||The few rooms are pretty OK still though, cheap and cheerfull.||The staff are all nice, but Manager Virginie(?) no longer stays here and it shows.||The common areas are in a mess, service not up to the old standard anymore.||When we arrived three dogs where...having adult fun just in fron of the reception area...||when we barbequed a bunch of domesticated dogs and stray dogs where fighting and running around, we have an infant and where a bit concerned, even if we know how to deal with angry dogs, and we needed to.||||We told clearly about that we needed to check out at 6am to catch the flight, yet we needed to wake up the staff and had him bicycle away somewhere to find a phone to get the final price.||||They did organise Capones boat ride correctly and at a good price, with old boat man Rick. That was great.||||They want to do good, that is for sure, but we miss the old times and hope they...
