Nice conference facilities, rooms, and buffet service! Great value for money!

Updated Review from a more recent stay (Jul 10-14, 2023)

The hotel gets a seriously downgraded rating in my assessment this time! My party stayed for five days and five nights, and my vehicle stayed parked on the street, at the mercy of Binondo traffic, for two full days and two full nights! On the third day of our stay, In the middle of our event, I had to leave for another meeting, and I told the security guard on duty that I will be back the same afternoon. There was no parking space for me anymore when I got back, and was told that I had to find a pay-for-parking space in the area on my own and that there was nothing they can do. I left my number with the guards, noting that they promised to call me the first instant a parking space becomes available. It was not until one of our team members left on Friday afternoon and vacated the parking space that THE VEHICLE THAT FETCHED HER USED, that I came to know that a parking space is now available, and it was my teammate who told me, NOT ONE OF THE GUARDS! Indeed there are very limited parking slots, and the hotel should not have allowed incoming/new guests to park if slots have been taken by checked-in guests, under the principle of first-come, first served. Or knowing the number of guests that are booked, they could have rented secure parking spaces around the area, much like what other hotels do if their own parking slots cannot accommodate in-house guests. Would they have paid for damages to my vehicle if an accident happened while my car was parked on the street while I was a guest at their hotel? Or is the attitude of the security personnel a reflection of the lack of concern of the hotel management? On top of this, we had the unfortunate experience of waiting for the breakfast buffet dishes to be refilled and tables to be cleaned (by staff busy talking to one another while guests were scrounging for clean tables to occupy) once too often. Glasses and drinking water had to be requested multiple times by different guests, used utensils were left in tables that were not properly wiped clean, and messy serving areas with spilled condiments left undisturbed by unbothered staff. Long wait for elevators, weird shower room setup that left the whole bathroom with pools of water, poor wifi connection in some rooms, and service staff arguing with guests about water bottles being replenished in rooms or not! We were supposed to book the hotel for another 4-day event in the next couple of months, but we've started looking for another venue. Extremely...

During my recent 3-day, 2-night stay at Swiss-Belhotel Blulane in Manila, the overall experience left much to be desired. While the hotel had potential, the importance of providing quality service to guests seemed inconsistent. Firstly, there was a noticeable discrepancy in the service provided by the on-the-job trainees. While some displayed genuine warmth and eagerness to assist, others seemed hesitant, particularly when they perceived that a guest might not offer a tip. This attitude detracted from the overall guest experience and contradicted the essence of hospitality, which should prioritize genuine care and assistance regardless of gratuity.Additionally, the functionality of the elevators was a significant inconvenience. With only one elevator in operation, guests frequently experienced delays and overcrowding, resulting in frustration and inconvenience. This issue significantly impacted the efficiency of guest movement within the hotel and should be addressed promptly to enhance overall satisfaction. In conclusion, while this hotel in Manila has potential, there are notable areas for improvement, particularly in ensuring consistent and genuine guest service and addressing operational inefficiencies such as elevator functionality. By instilling in all staff members, including trainees, a genuine commi**ent to hospitality and service excellence, the hotel can elevate the overall guest experience and distinguish itself as a premier destination...

The hotel was easy to find in Chinatown, I got the bus from outside of the airport then the LRT to Carriedo, which was a short 5min walk. I always like to do things as a local esp if the country’s transport system is good enough.Anyway, onto the hotel… breathtaking like I said, amazing, super clean, massive and beautiful! I had a huge room to myself with a bathroom that was fit for a king! The room itself is bigger than my first ever apar**ent I bought in London! Shower room has toiletries provided and the tv has plenty of English channels 😎 Checking in was simple enough bough and the breakfast the next day, wow! Ate so much and the staff were more than helpful when it comes to helping take pics, giving ideas and information on what to do and where to go, and are always welcoming and opening doors etc for you! Special mention goes to Edison, the guy is magic and I have huge praise for him! Gave a lot of help and made my stay at the hotel and in Manila so much better! Thanks again Edison 🙏The reception staff were great and there was a lady there who was super nice - Christine, who never seems to take a break and is always working 🙈 Ronald was a hero when it came to sorting my room out last minute in the late hours, super efficient and great chats with the guy too! The hotel has the best staff!I would highly recommend this hotel and Manila to everyone, and I will definitely be returning again 😎...

Let's be honest, I'm not sure if I trust the area, but inside the house is more welcoming. They have a lot of rules posted most likely to keep order. The Supreme room was small and bathroom layout was small and tight. The floors were a little flimsy and lumpy with laminate wood flooring. But the rooms were clean!. The view overlooks a very cluttered business area called China town. The service was good and equal. The lobby is great and spacious with an elegant design changing the feel you get from being outside. The breakfast or hotel food may and may not be included depending on your selected package. The hotel food with the hotel was OK. The reception and waitresses for the food staff were equal to any 5 star restaurant. You are safe choosing the food in the hotel over going to local restaurants with what i thought was a outside food tasted worst. However, the cooks in the hotel concentrated on the display and not enough on the taste, but more palatablethan outside local foods. For example the pancakes were plain (no egg, milk, vanilla, fluff). However the beef was seasoned perfectly but had too much marbled fat. The rice were perfect and in the Philippines they say rice is Life.

I wanted to take this moment to express my gratitude for the fantastic experience during my recent stay at SWISS BELHOTEL BLULANE. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the impeccable service throughout my one day and one night stay, every aspect exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of exploration. The attention to detail, from the amenities provided to the thoughtful touches, truly enhanced my stay. The dining options at the hotel were exceptional. Each meal was delicious, and the ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall dining experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at SWISS BELHOTEL BLULANE and would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you once again for a memorable stay. I look forward to returning in the future. Warm regards, JOHN CARLO (JC) TELAN Pinaka magandang intern😍
