Personally,I feel that it’s an important landmark in Binondo. Amid tall buildings and city life, there’s a plaza with greenery. Tall, lush trees that give shade on hot, sunny days. The same trees offer natural beauty to the plaza. People pass it every time they cross the street. This plaza gets dressed up on various occasions like the Chinese New Year. Various food stalls surround the place. A stage is usually present for performances on these occasions. A police post is also conveniently located within the plaza. At night, bright lights fill the lampposts -making it a real nice place for picture taking. The fountain is another lovely place to pose beside. Kids standby here with their skateboards, too. The only iffy thing is the pollution from the vehicles...

Located right across Binondo Church.

I truly hope the local government endeavors to keep this area clean and squatter free as this has become a tourist site.

During the past administrations, there are vagrants loitering which is an eyesore.

Visitors litter and vandal, not to mention it does not look too safe.

That is why I too am a proponent of the balik probinsya program, otherwise, more due diligence from the DSWD please.

Anyway, during Holidays, this plaza is turned into a food park of sorts, with various tents of vendors.

Appreciate the police visibility here.

The attraction here is the lights and the fountains (and as I have said, if unguarded, becomes a bath tub)!

My only irk here is it is kind of hard to...

I give this 5 stars because it has been serving the people for over 500 years which is amazing in itself. It is a must see and it is close to Chinatown in Binondo, Manila. They have beautiful paintings on the ceiling making you appreciate the art of it. A good place to stop and pray for a moment even though it can be busy on the day I would pick a weekday so you can enjoy it with less traffic. There are many cool churches to see in the Philippines.
