When we arrived at the Surigao port, we were informed that the fast craft for 3PM trip to Siargao was not operational and the next trip will be next day at 3AM. Left with no choice, we looked for hotels near the area, saw this place and decided to inquire. When we were assisted by the female staff, she offered 2 rooms since there are 5 of us. Since we only need to spend the night and leave early, we chose the cheapest room - twin bed with 5 of us in it. Female staff offered us expensive rooms primarily but when we check the twin bed with the male staff, we asked him if 5 pax can stay in the room, he allowed it and told us that we just need to add extra bed for P800. We're glad we're able to talk to the male staff as we're able to save some cash with his assistance. Compared to the female staff who offered a pricey room and told us that the hotel is fully booked and other hotels might be fully booked as well. Hopefully next time, she will accommodate customers in the same way how the male staff assisted us knowing that we will only need to spend the night and will just need a place to stay for couple of hours. We weren't even able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet. I can't give high rating for this hotel since customer service needs to be improved. Anyone that will be using this hotel in the future, don't hesitate to ask for the cheapest room. Hopefully you will be assisted with the...

Foreigners beware. Stayed there Wednesday December 8 and resisted giving them a bad review even though many problems. Arrived from the ferry terminal at 7am on Saturday morning and was ok to pay the full day rate for a room until 1pm (6 hours). We were told a room with breakfast was 2200 and they had available rooms. Was also told that the breakfast was for the following morning so we would have to pay for today's breakfast also. I found this strange as they could have rented an empty room for 6 hours and came out 1600 + pesos ahead. I spoke to the resident manager Cristel Almeda and asked if we could use our breakfast coupons for same day if we booked.... and were told definitely not as it was against policy. They must have a policy against making money? (Or maybe spoiled rich pinay who doesn't care?)Bottom line.... worst customer service attitude I have encountered in my 15 years of travel in the Philippines. So in the end we paid for and ate their terrible buffet for 600 as we were starving.... then we went elsewhere. I really hate to condemn anyone but there was just no reasoning behind this managers decision and I think the maids could have made a better decision. Time to try some new options when next in Surigoa. Location is great but that is it! Dont expect any loyalty, customer service, or common sense. Stay elsewhere There are other good options...

First night here we was in our room for 10 hours without a working air conditioner, it took them till midnight to transfer us to a less quality room then what we paid for with no money back. Our second room air-conditioner kept turning off while we was sleeping as well, luckily they have a breaker in it that we personally manually have to flip to get it to work every night. We paid for a room with smart TV so we can watch movies at night, unfortunately the internet turns off every hour every night, the night crew is not smart enough to fix it. So we are in a room with no internet and an ac that turns off on its own and they still expect full price, I will be traveling here 3 times a year and will never use this hotel again. It has been nothing but problems. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because the door greeters are extremely respectful and help you open the doors and carry your belongings anytime you need help. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Extremely dispointed with this place and they made my vacation less...

Great location and accessible to public transpo. A back entrance allows you easy access to Surigao boulevard, about a 10 minute walk from the port that’ll take you to Dinagat islands. There are convenience stores and good restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed EJ Garden (serves good cup of Americano) and Manzanitas. Staff are very professional and efficient. Private transfer to Surigao Airport costs 350 Pesos/van but it’s also very easy to take a trike to the airport. Rooms are clean and smell good. Note that some rooms are outdated and have no hair dryer while there are newly renovated ones so you’ll need to confirm that when booking. I have stayed in both room types and found it to be comfortable but I would prefer a newly renovated room. Bookings come with free breakfast buffet which isn’t much but tastes good and very filling. Coffee’s decent too. Dining staff are very professional and quick to serve. Vegetarians may be limited to salads and coffee.

Stayed in both 2200 and 2500 piso rooms. Since a varied buffet breakfast is included in the price, it represents fair value. The cheapest 2000 piso room window gave onto a wall four feet away, so a turn off; especially since many rooms offer spectacular views of the Strait. In both rooms everything worked well. The twin beds were a wide 3 foot, and rooms reasonably spacious and well furnished. The internet functioned well, and TVs offered A range of international channels. Staff were friendly and professional. Two minor quibbles:The hotel looks tired in parts, but is undergoing gradual renovation. Lighting was poor for any avid reader, especially in the room without view. Location is excellent for both local and long distance ferries, so too for shopping and eating.
