The hotel was amazing. It was very accessible to the high way and close to the Peñafrancia Basilica, restaurants, banks and access to public transport.||||Staff were amazing. It is a family owned business and our four night stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The owners were very warm and accommodating. They were very friendly, helpful and efficient.||||The internet connection was strong in common areas. It was very poor to no connectivity in our room. I believe the connection depended on where I was situated. I didn't mind that, because I did most of my work in the common areas where the internet connection was good.||||The food was amazing and reasonable at the restaurant. There were a lot of restaurants that we visited when we were there, I would have to say Cafe Harry (which is the hotel's restaurant) was one of the best. When it is crab season, they have one of the best chili crabs I have tasted. In fact, in one of our conversations with the owner, they have their own crab farm. Devotees of the Lady of Penafrancia will find the location so convenient because it is a five-minute walk from the Basilica. There are also many eating places nearby. While the bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep, the bathroom desperately needs an upgrade and thorough cleaning. Bathroom fixtures need replacement such as the bidet, towel hanger, and the shower head. I had difficulty taking a shower. The door would not properly close and there was mold on the bathroom wall. Breakfast is included in the stay which consists of a set menu of five choices (tomato ketchup is available only upon request). Cleaning supplies and brooms are stored underneath the stairs.
