In a dark, dirty, and dreary city like Naga, it was a wonderful experience to check into the clean, well-lit and beautiful hotel like The Litton. There is a parking garage under the building for around 5-7 cars, which was great, as it was raining. You will have to take an elevator up to the 2nd floor, to the lobby, in order to check in, which was quick, seamless and professional.||||Hotel is brand new and only been open a few months and they are still working out the kinks, none of which we didn't experience anyway.||||My only issue (among the four of us), that we all thought it was a bit expensive for the size of the room. Yes, it was new, and clean, and safe...but 3500 peso for a small room? The night before we stayed at The Summit, a similar hotel, and the room was much larger, for 2500 peso. However, the Litton has indoor parking, and the Summit has only outdoor.||||Also, The Litton offers "free breakfast" for guests, but be warned....it's "filipino breakfast", so all you get is a scoop of rice, eggs, some toast, and soup. Being American, I asked the kitchen to fry up some eggs and I made toast, so I survived. I was impressed by the high quality plates, dishes and silverware; it was 5-star quality. But the meal wasn't worth the 1000 peso extra cost over the Summit.||||AC worked fine, sleep quality was great; room was dark and quiet. No view out of the windows (just a neighbors back yard). Staff was polite and professional, MUCH more professional and trained compared to the idiots at The Summit, who, after 15 minutes, didn't seem to know how to check us in, even though we had a confirmation number. Thanks to Mr. Alvana, the manager, for the great time we spent...
Read moreCelebrating an important milestone at Litton Cafe was an excellent choice, and despite initial reservations based on poor reviews, the experience exceeded expectations.
Reservation: The reservation process was quick and easy, with a thoughtful follow-up call hours before our visit to ensure a prepared table.
Location and Navigation: While the hotel was easy to find, the absence of a guard at the main door seemed unusual. The layout became clear with the help of a directory, aiding navigation to the lobby and cafe.
Ambiance and Vibe: Litton Cafe's ambiance and vibe were outstanding, exuding exclusivity and privacy. The addition of smooth jazz music created an incredible atmosphere.
Services: The staff were polite and attentive, guiding us to a window-side table, providing menus and extra wares, and offering insightful suggestions. Their proactive approach, subtle observation, and swift assistance without prompting reflected a high level of service.
Foods: Contrary to negative reviews, the dishes were delicious and freshly made, indicating an improvement in both cooking and services. While the salad fell short due to its overpowering vinegar flavor, the rest of the dishes were exceptional. Litton Cafe seems to have elevated their culinary and service standards, making it a commendable choice for a memorable...
Read moreWent here to the Litton Café to dine and celebrate New Year with my girl. We had breaded pork chop, mushroom truffle pasta and steak. The steak was okay but the pasta was so bland & dull, and the pork chop was too rubbery to the point that it was so hard to cut and chew.
We informed the staff about the situation. The pasta came back a bit better but in too little portion for its price. The pork chop was still the same, super chewy.
If I didn’t tell the Staff that we would cancel the pork chop and would not pay for it they would not do something about it and would make us pay.
The service was very poor. The Staff made us feel that we were the problem and not their food and service. We did not receive any apologies from them instead a judgemental stares from some of the staff.
We were planning to have an afternoon tea after our main course, but we decided to leave as it was not worth staying longer.
I would have given 0 star if I could. What an experience.
The staff in the Café was unprofessional and it didn't feel like I was in a fine...
