Layolayo Beach Cove Resort — Hotel in Nasugbu

You could tell that the owner really thought of quality by looking at the structure of their rooms. The bathroom fixtures were all Pozzi brand. The tiles, mattresses pillows and sheets were all close to 3 star hotel offering. Staff were polite and pleasant. Their breakfast that comes with the room accommodation is simple yet legit- when they say cornedbeefsilog, it means you get the Hormel Purefoods corned beef (i think about half of the small can) and spamsilog, you get 3 decent slices of real spam. Something I really appreciate because as a budget traveller, I have been to numerous budget accommodations which tried very hard to differentiate their offer by including breakfast, pero pilit na pilit lang. We loved their beds!!! If you feel like just staying in the room, they have decent flat screens (in fairness its Hisense) with cable and can bring your USBs as well if you wanna watch your own downloaded movies. Its no wonder Layolayo Beach Cove resort became an instant hit when someone wrote about them here on fb, though thats the only negative comment I have about this place. It can get super crowded! Avoid long weekends. It is so accessible from Manila via Cavitex I cant blame people if this will be one of the top choices for a quick weekend get away. The sand is really fine so if it gets crowded, dont expect clear waters in the beach. I hate that some guests leave their trash everywhere, though the staff including the lifeguards try their best to maintain the cleanliness of the place. We’ll definitely come back, glad to have found this gem that’s so near Manila.

Its a home away from home, our favorite family place.. they follow good health protocols..place is comfy very clean its not just the place and good accomodation hotel beach resort but the very friendly, welcoming, respectful, accomodating staff that completes it, the food is good and served hot in its canteen, prices moderately priced ... There are also fishermen with fresh big and small fishes, lobsters, shell fish etc at dawn where you can buy and grill later in the day. Its well maintained and.clean specially in this pandemic, rooms are clean has hot and cold water, as we left this morning, they are seen here cleaning and scrubbing things that are used. Its a must to stay at Layolayo if and when your in Nasugbu and if the alert levels permit it.. theres also a pool, water is clear but very cold maybe due to the cold January season too so prepare whats necessary aqua shoes if you will go boating in the corals and its nice though their beach has no harsh sharped stones and shells very good for kids playing in the shore. Expect alot of people specially during weekends so timing is everything.
